If you want to take high quality photographs, as I did on this day, then be prepared to be patient. As numerous visitors have the exact same idea, and the Church gets crowed at times. Enjoy the sightseeing and taking pictures, however, bare in mind, that it's still a religious sight (irrespective of your personal believes), let's respect the other visitors and Church goers alike. This is truly worth the visit, be it thar you admire the architecture, statues or the history behind it.

📍How to get there: order DiDi (English) to Xikai Cathedral. It’s located in downtown, in front of the main shopping street in Tianjin- Binjiangdao. Very beautiful cathedral, was built in 1917. It’s opened for visitors on Sundays and during the main Catholic festivals. From Monday to Saturday you can walk all around the church on its territory. #newyearadventure

By line 1 Tianjin Metro, it took about 20 minutes from Liuyuan metro station. Yinkodoa metrostation, that's the stop. Out of metro station and a five minute walk and there is the St. Joseph Cathedral. Easy access and one can not have difficulty finding that iconic church building. Have visited that church a couple of times during my stay in Tianjin. The church choir is awesome, the building is ancient architecture, I guess. Surrounding environment is good and I happen to come across many local and international tourists. There are alot of coffee shops and restaurants just outside the church entrance. So, I recommend you to pay a visit on your next vacation or trip to Tianjin.
