A few small tips:
① Our travel style is to see as much as possible since we're already here, so the daily itinerary is quite packed, mostly arriving at the scenic spot the night before, staying at hotels or B&Bs near the entrance, and entering the scenic spot early the next morning to avoid the heat and peak crowds. The last two days were more relaxed in the villages.
② With elderly and children, we took cable cars, escalators, elevators, and boats to save energy and not get too tired.
③ Many people get sick from eating in Guizhou, so we mostly ate at well-rated larger restaurants, avoided street food, and if there was no food in the scenic area, we just had milk and bread and ate later. We didn't drink spring water, only bottled mineral water, and brought our own kettle. There were many children playing in the water at Xiaoqikong, we had our kids wear masks, the water was cold and the sun was strong, so we didn't let them play for long, only about twenty minutes.
④ The UV rays are strong, so pay attention to sun protection.
