Jeju Island Travel Tips
Transportation on Jeju Island is not very convenient. Taxis are hard to find, and buses have long intervals. To avoid missing beautiful scenery, we recommend joining a tour group or renting a car.
We recommend staying in downtown Jeju Island. Although the seaside scenery is beautiful, there are fewer people at night, which may feel unsafe, and shopping is inconvenient.
Most of Jeju Island's attractions are by the sea, and the weather greatly affects the scenery. Be sure to check the weather forecast before your trip and choose a sunny day to enjoy the best sea views.
Many small shops on Jeju Island only accept cash in Korean won. Be sure to exchange enough cash before your trip. For a 4-5 day trip, prepare about KRW 100,000 per person. If you have any leftover, you can exchange it back.
We hope this guide helps you have a pleasant and unforgettable trip to Jeju Island. Enjoy the beautiful scenery!
