I lined up four hours before the New Year to welcome the New Year in Times Square, but the huge line had already started before dusk, and police officers in cool New York Police uniforms were regulating the line with ropes stretched every block. Even after two hours, Times Square was still far away. It was dangerous to be so crowded, so people were lining up at a certain distance, so I wondered if we couldn't go any further? Four blocks away, I could see Times Square. I had given up, thinking that this year's countdown might start here... but they still moved each line forward from the end of the rope, so by the time the countdown began, we were two blocks away from Times Square. And then the countdown finally began. Amidst tremendous cheers, the new year began... 2018 is still a long way off, but there's no doubt that the new year will come in at Times Square. Since going to China in 2020... due to travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I've only been to Bangkok last fall. New York City New Year's Eve Last 2022. It is really a bucket list to spend the new year's eve on NYC Times square. But you need to be ready, Dress Warm, stay hydrated and No Bathroom inside the crowd. We got inside, near the stage about 12hours before the countdown with no restroom time at all 😱, NYPD wont let you go outside to take a restroom and be back to your place. Once you get out, they wont let you in again and thus the crowd its difficult to be back inside. if your with a child, like me together with my 7yr old child, she wore a diapers so to be sure. but overall experience was all worth it. because of we are early on the scene, we had always has an exposure to the tv cameras, we even got exposures that shown in CNN and worldwide tvs and news! Times Square in New York City, formerly known as Longacre Square, is usually referred to as the "Great White Way" because the lights of Broadway theaters illuminate the area, forming the second avenue at the intersection of Broadway, Seventh Avenue, and 40th Street. It was renamed after the completion of the New York Times Building in 1904. The central building on the square is still famous for its outdoor news "zipper" that displays the latest news. By the 1920s, the community had become a concentrated entertainment area for theaters, vaudeville, musical performances, bars, and restaurants. This is a place where I can sit from morning till night, watching all those different animated neon lights shining on the top of buildings, as well as the many people with different emotions and shapes. Times Square is known as the "crossroads of the world" and is one of the busiest pedestrian streets in the world. According to surveys by many world tourism and leisure magazines, Times Square is the most visited tourist attraction in the world, attracting over 39 million visitors annually.

If you haven’t visited Times Square to check in and take photos, you can’t say you’ve been to New York! Whether it is a cloudless sunny day or a rainy day; or the electronic billboards competing with the sunlight; or the colorful lights shining in the dark, when you step into the embrace of Uncle Sam's Big Apple, you will instantly feel that everything is unreal! I visited the Big Apple once when I was studying in the United States. At that time, I had many fantasies about this big city, but the expenses in the United States are really expensive! Although I came here as a working person this time, I still find the prices in the US amazing❗️ But no matter what, there are many shops around the electronic signage for you to try. Times Square is located in the center of Yanhattan, with convenient transportation, connected to several subway lines, just outside the 42 street station exit. Time Square has its own characteristics both day and night, very suitable for taking pictures, it is a must-visit attraction in New York!
