"Tianxin Pavilion" was first seen in Yu Yi's poem "Tianxin Pavilion Overlooking" at the end of the Ming Dynasty. The name of the pavilion is derived from the meaning of "Shangshu" "All have one virtue, and enjoy the heart of heaven". "The grandeur of the southern city is gathered in this pavilion", which is famous in the world and has become a place for literati and ink guests to gather and chant. It was repaired several times from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. The pavilion is composed of the main pavilion and the two deputy pavilions in the south and the north. The main pavilion is in the middle, with chestnut tiles and ancient railings, high eaves and high pecks, towering into the clouds, and majestic. It is now the only ancient city symbol in Changsha.
In 1938, Tianxin Pavilion and the buildings in the garden were destroyed in the "Wenxi Fire". As for the Wenxi Fire, it is the eternal sorrow of Changsha City. The current pavilion was rebuilt on the original site in 1983. The rebuilt Tianxin Pavilion is in the style of Ming and Qing architecture. The main pavilion is three stories high and 14.6 meters high. The south and north attached pavilions (South Screen, North Arch) are each 10 meters high. The main pavilion and the attached pavilions are connected by corridors, which are majestic and magnificent.
