🏨 The Universal Studios Grand Hotel is probably one of the most expensive hotel stays I’ve experienced. Was it really worth it? Here’s what I think⬇️ 👎🏻 •the room is relatively small without anything special, it wasn’t decorated lavishly nor have fancy written all over it to worth the price. •bathroom doesn’t even have a bathtub.🛁 •the room isn’t sound proof at all (I could hear people next door talking out loud).🔊 •there wasn’t complementary “anything” except the bottled water, coffee & tea.☕️🫖 👍🏻 •it is right next to Universal Studios🚶‍♀️ •you get perks to enter the park at 7:30am (for a walk and photos without crowds) 📸 •you can leave/store your luggage even after check-out 💼🧳 📝: If you want convenience, then yes! this hotel is recommended, if you are more on the practical side, then this a little bit too much. This extra hour is crucial, as you can visit the most popular Harry Potter area without queuing, and take photos at popular spots. The empty Hogwarts is the real Hogwarts! Universal Studios Beijing does not offer early entry tickets. The only way to enter the park early is to stay at the hotel or buy a VIP ticket, which costs over CNY 2,000 per person. If you buy the 5-item Express Pass, it costs CNY 640 per person even in the off-season. If you go with a friend, it will cost CNY 1,280. You might as well stay at the hotel for one night. - Although Universal Studios Beijing is not large, you will still feel tired after a day of walking. Oh, I'm back at Beijing Universal Studios again. To relax completely, I stayed at the Universal Hotel at the park entrance. It's a lazy person's dream! The two huge palm trees at the hotel entrance made me feel like I was in LA. The holiday vibe was off the charts. The hotel was decorated for Halloween everywhere, and every photo was amazing. This time, to have fun with my friends, I booked a suite. It had two bedrooms and a huge living room, almost 100 square meters. The living room even had a kitchen with an induction cooker. I felt like I could cook. At night, we ate and drank together, chatted while drinking on the sofa. It was so cool. The bedroom was also spacious. The double bed was so big that I could roll around. The bath products and towels were high quality. It was super comfortable. Although the price was a bit higher than two separate rooms, the space was much larger. Highly recommended! The biggest surprise was that when I checked in, I was given a Halloween limited edition Minion welcome snack, a large bowl of fruit, and even a bottle of champagne! Universal Studios Beijing has finally been visited since its opening, bringing along a little over one-year-old child to experience the joy. We entered the park on May 7th, and surprisingly, there were very few people, so we didn't have to queue for any of the attractions. I recommend staying at the NUO Hotel or Universal Studios Grand Hotel, not only because of the early park entry VIP access but also because it's very convenient to take the little ones back for a rest. Universal Studios also has quite a few attractions suitable for toddlers, with almost every theme covered, but older children would probably enjoy it more, as the themes are very boy-friendly. The environment at NUO Hotel is very ok, and the Universal Studios Grand Hotel, which is in the same price range and part of the same group, is right next door. If you prefer a themed experience, you might opt for the Universal Hotel, but if you're more after a hotel and room environment, I would recommend NUO. A friend stayed at the Universal Studios Grand Hotel, where the room rate was 1.5k, and the rooms were much smaller with a kind of budget hotel style in terms of facilities. Century Boulevard is quite nice to stroll along, but as for the food, I feel it's all pretty average, nothing particularly outstanding. There's Quanjude and Dong Lai Shun as well, and if you like Hangzhou cuisine, there's Grandma's Home.

Beijing Universal Resort Feelings: Not very recommended, not very interesting. Played the recommended Forbidden Journey, Battle for the Spark, Flight of the Hippogriff, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, and they were not as fun as I imagined. The duration is super short. Queue for an hour, play for sixty seconds; queue for forty minutes, play for forty seconds. This will be my only visit. Just wander around, there's really no need to rush to queue for the attractions, it's no different from a regular amusement park, just a theme park. Roller coasters, 3D or 4D experiences, teacups, carousels. If you really want to play the attractions, it's not as good as a regular amusement park. Clothing: It's windy today, a light jacket is enough. Food: Went to eat at Three Broomsticks, it was really average. A bit unpalatable. Accommodation: Universal Hotel, enter the park one hour early, this is very cost-effective, indeed there are much fewer people one hour earlier. Entered the park at two o'clock on Saturday afternoon, stayed at Universal overnight, and played from nine in the morning until after two in the afternoon on Sunday. There's basically nothing I want to play anymore. Many people say Forbidden Journey, Battle for the Spark are worth re-riding, but I just want to say, I could barely play it again if there was no queue, it's really not thrilling. Compared to the rest of Universal, it's worth playing, but if I didn't live in Beijing, it's really not worth traveling thousands of miles to play, I'd rather go to Disney. What must be said about this Universal queue: The designer of the queue is definitely a genius, always able to cleverly hide the queueing crowd. Parents, please be rational when getting excited about this. 🏨Name: Universal Studios Grand Hotel ☆The location of the Universal Studios Hotel is really great. You're right in the Universal park when you go downstairs, unlike Disney where you need to take a shuttle bus. This point is really awesome👍🏻. You can enter the park one hour early, and it's really cool to get on the rides early. The main selling point is the location! Highly recommended! ☆Breakfast with Minion interaction The breakfast is basically up to the standard of a star hotel, quite rich, and most importantly, you can take photos with the Minions and other characters. What surprised me was the Red Dragon Lounge on the first floor. When we came back at night and the kids were hungry, I ordered a group deal, and it was unexpectedly affordable and most importantly, delicious٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ ☆The front desk staff are very patient and detailed in answering questions The hotel has an express passage to the Universal Boulevard and the park. |||.🗂️Small tips: If you didn't get the express pass, you can consider booking the Universal Hotel! Entering the park one hour earlier is really great. We only booked the Universal Hotel without buying the express pass, and we also brushed five projects➕second brush Minions, except for the Transformers fire source battle which took about 40 minutes, the rest basically didn't queue! The only pity is that our Forbidden Journey was under maintenance for almost half a day, and we didn't get to play. So I booked a Christmas season package, which includes one night at the hotel and tickets. The Christmas atmosphere at the hotel is so strong, the wishing pool, corridor, movie posters, spiral staircase... everywhere is a good place for photos! Especially that retro elevator, it's just too good! The pointer-style elevator, I thought it was just a prop, but I didn't expect the pointer to really move, full marks for details Our room can see inside the park, and you can see the night view of the park at night. Although the room is not as luxurious as the Disney hotel, it is simple and generous, clean and the bed is quite comfortable.
