The resort was beautiful, I like the fact that it was exactly like how I saw it in the pictures. Their food was amazing. I got to sit and eat at the restaurant or order in if I don't feel like going out. The waiter would come and set my table in my room

Udaya is much more than a typical resort; it truly makes you feel at home. I visited with my wife and spent several days being genuinely moved by their hospitality and care. The staff attends to every detail concerning your comfort and ensures that you’re satisfied. A highlight is the food, which I’d argue is the best in Ubud if you’re craving international dishes. Although we tried only the Indonesian fried rice, we didn’t sample other local foods, so I can't comment on them. As vegetarians, we appreciated that they diligently customized meals for us. I highly recommend this place.

I had a very pleasant stay here; the staff were fantastic and quite accommodating. I arranged for the hotel to pick me up from the airport upon arrival, and Kris, who greeted me, offered some great insights into Ubud and pointed out one of the cafes I wanted to visit as we drove past it. Deeva, their restaurant, impressed me—I dined there one night and found both the service and food quality excellent. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the palace (Ubud's center), usually running hourly, but due to nearby roadworks, it operated every two hours during my stay. Honestly, it worked just fine—you just need to plan around the shuttle times. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay, and I would certainly return.

#myhiddengems This was one of our favorite stays during our time in Bali. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly and always went above and beyond whenever possible. We stayed in one of the pool villas and everything about it was great. The pool was a little chilly but probably because we visited on the front end of dry season and they had a lot of rain the week before. The main pool was warmer though due to the direct access to the sun light. Floating breakfast was a nice touch/addition and the massage here was 11/10. The shuttle service was a plus as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here

As the title suggests, I stayed at this hotel for two days during my trip to Bali. Since the duplex I wanted wasn't available on the first day, I opted for a standard pool room. We arrived in the evening, and it was a long walk up many stone steps to our room. 😓 It had just rained, and the lighting along the way was dim (even using my phone's flashlight didn't help much). It was like climbing a mountain and wading through water, which was quite dangerous.❗️ Entering the hotel room, even with all the lights on, it was still dim, making it inconvenient at night. And the pool had no lights! I was afraid to go down. None of the other villas I stayed in on this trip had private pools like this; at least they should have had some lights. 😢 I wasted my evening using the pool. If I had known, I would have stayed at a place without a pool! Up in the room, the bed was untouched. A dead insect lay on the neatly made bed, right next to the frangipani flowers the hotel had given me. 😐😐 Was that a welcome gift from the hotel? I even saw frogs, moths, and even insects singing in unison on the canopy of the bed near daylight (I believe we were indoors, as the doors were securely closed). In the morning, I finally got to use the pool. I changed into my swimsuit and took a photo with the floating breakfast. Suddenly, a man appeared from the opposite side, operating a drone. 😰 I was seen naked, and he even waved at me?! Totally no privacy! The next night, we also checked in late at night, but this time, no staff member escorted us to our new room. They just told us how to get there. Honestly, with the hotel being so large, the lighting being dim, and the rain making the ground slippery, it felt a bit unreasonable to expect us to find a new room on our own! The room cost over NT$2,000 per night, which isn't expensive, but the service was completely lacking. And considering all this, I wouldn't stay there again, even if I were offered a chance. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and it left a lasting impression on me.

A beautiful resort with much more amazing rooms. Since the resort is in the middle of a tropical rainforest, you can expect to have wildlife in your room. We initially took a duplex pool room, but many insects fell from the thatched roof. We shared our concerns with the staff and asked to be moved to another similar room. They very kindly moved us to one of the new, nicer, and larger duplex villas. We are grateful for the hospitality of the Udaya staff and wish them only the best. I was really happy to book Udaya Resort and Spa while in Ubud. I was greeted with a comforting welcome drink, and the lovely Sylphiana showed me around the property. She and all the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was everything I wanted - beautiful, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The building is superbly designed, the atmosphere is relaxing, and there is an amazing pool and greenery. The resort offers a free shuttle service to the city every hour, which is nice and convenient. Also, the flower bath and massage at the spa are truly amazing. I highly recommend booking a stay at Udaya Resort & Spa.
