Tennoji Zoo is conviniently located right in the city which is relatively easy to get to from Tennoji Station. It’s not a huge zoo, but good enough for little children to spend the day at. Entrance tickets are affordable too at just 500 yen. My little one is 3 and she enjoyed the zoo very much. There are elephant push carts available for rent which were a hit with the children, though we adults were tired from pushing them all day! There are animals we don’t normally see like the polar bear, sea lions, eagle and various species of monkeys. There is a small food court and a nice little souvenir store. Overall a nice place to visit with little children especially in a huge city like Osaka. Come here if you have little ones! #tripblazers

Tennoji Zoo I went to Tennoji Zoo in January. Tennoji Zoo opened in 1915 and is the third oldest zoo in Japan. The 11-hectare park is home to about 1,000 animals of 200 different species, and it takes at least an hour to see them all. It's a vast zoo that takes about 4-5 hours if it's crowded or you want to take a good look at the animals. Inside is the [TENNOJI ZOO MUSIUM] Limited-time exhibition (2022/12/20-2023/1/9) Zodiac Exhibition - Jump to 2023 - Held in the Daishin Wakuwaku Hall. *No additional admission fee An exhibition about the rabbit, the zodiac sign for 2023. The Osaka Tennoji Zoo is one of the most interesting zoo I've ever visited ! The animals are all awake, almost none of them are sleeping ! I think I chose the right time to visit the zoo in the early morning. There are some rare animals such as the Polar bear, Humboldt penguin and the Grey wolf. The zoo is divided into four zones where animals are separated into different categories. Transportation is very convenient, take the train and alight at Dobutsuen-mae Metro Station, walk for about 5-8 minutes and there you see the zoo! The entrance fee is cheap, 500yen for adults. Tennoji Zoo is located in Tennoji, Osaka, near Tennoji Station and Zoo-mae Station. 🚇 There are all kinds of animals in the zoo that you can't see in Hong Kong, including polar bears. Osaka zoo. lots of animals to see, including zebra, giraffe, polar bear, penguin, lion, tiger. rare to see a zoo located within the city centre. first time to go to osaka zoo and it was good. it wasn’t big but you are able to see so many different kinds of animals in one place. can go if you have enough time in Osaka. was lucky to have very nice weather throughout our stay in Osaka. #osaka #zoo
