Sarutahiko Coffee Chofu Roasting Hall
Sarutahiko Coffee was established in Ebisu, Tokyo, in 2011 with the philosophy of "bringing happiness with just one cup of coffee." The brand is dedicated to serving meticulously brewed specialty coffee to every customer.
Today, Sarutahiko Coffee has expanded across Japan, with 25 stores centered in Tokyo. Among them, the Chofu Roasting Hall flagship store, opened in 2017, plays a crucial role as it handles the roasting of coffee beans for all Sarutahiko Coffee locations, making it an essential hub for the brand.
The store spans approximately 150 tsubo (about 495 square meters) and offers over 100 seats, providing a spacious and comfortable environment. Through the transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, customers can observe the roasting process carried out by skilled professionals using large-scale coffee roasters.
During this visit, I ordered a hot latte and a croissant. The hot latte costs 650 yen, while the croissant is priced at 374 yen. Personally, I found the latte's flavor reminiscent of Hokkaido's BARISTART COFFEE.
Thanks to the spacious interior and ample seating, the store is ideal for various occasions—whether you're meeting friends for a chat or visiting alone to enjoy coffee while reading or working.
