[2025 Siem Reap Attraction] Travel Guide for Ta Prohm Temple (Updated Oct)

I visited Siem Reap this August and it was amazing. The green season made everything fresh and peaceful, with fewer tourists around. The best moments were watching sunrise at Angkor Wat, exploring Bayon and Ta Prohm, and cooling off at Kulen Mountain waterfalls. A boat ride at Tonlé Sap Lake was also perfect since the water was high and the floating villages were full of life. In the evenings, I enjoyed walking through the night market, tasting local food, and ending the day with the Phare Circus show. If you visit Siem Reap in August, expect some rain, but it only makes the temples and nature more beautiful.

I had 1 Day Angkor Wat ticket from their website in advanced. We rented a 2 seated electric bike from outside because going from temples to temples are a long walk/bike We were there on the week day, there were almost no hustle and the complex are really well managed. There are a lot of temples inside the complex. The popular temple like Ta Prohm Temple or Bayon Temple are impressive ... there are also peaceful ones like Neak Poan Temple located in the middle of the lake. Their nature has such an amazing vibe 🙏❤️ started around 11 AM - We finished at the sunset

1 Day wonder: Ankor Wat, Ta Prohm Temple & Bayon Temple Ankor Wat is a site must see! it has rich history and a unesco wold site heritage. Waking up at 3am to capture that moment through the eyes and lens of the camera was truly incredible. I suggest to seek a tour guide on the journey as they educate you on the history, the stories and a a master for best photos. Their knowledge is so valuable.
