A cozy and comfortable stay at Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center!
Hey everyone! I recently stayed at the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center and had a fantastic experience! If you're planning to visit the Forbidden City, travel for business, shop in Sanlitun, or catch a show at the Workers' Stadium, this hotel is perfect. I have to tell you all about it.
The average cost for a deluxe twin room is usually around CNY 700, including breakfast for two. This price is incredibly reasonable for a hotel within the Second Ring Road, offering exceptional value for money! If you're on a budget but still want a great stay, this is the place to be.
Let's talk about the room layout. When I first entered the room, I compared it to the Swissôtel I stayed at in Singapore and thought, wow, this space is much smaller, and the sofa is shorter. I felt a bit disappointed at first. However, the office chair was really comfortable, and I ended up spending most of my time in it. The room layout is quite reasonable, with clear functional areas. Although it's an old building that was renovated in 2022, it looks brand new.
The amenities are all new, and the rooms are well-maintained. On the 3rd floor, there's the Sunset Lounge and a swimming pool. I heard that many influencers go to the Sunset Lounge during sunset to take photos, capturing the stunning view of the traffic and the sunset merging together. And guess what? This hotel has parking! However, starting from January 2025, there will be a parking fee of CNY 10 per hour, with a maximum of CNY 80 per day. But until then, you can get free vouchers at the front desk. If you're an Accor member, you can also enjoy complimentary drinks, choosing from beverages or freshly made coffee.
The soundproofing and cleanliness of this hotel are top-notch! The soundproofing is so good that you can't hear any outside noise in the room, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The cleaning ladies are very friendly and keep the rooms spotless, making your stay worry-free.
Let me share some other tips. The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's right outside the "Dongsishitiao" subway station on Line 2, within the Second Ring Road. Whether you want to visit attractions like the Forbidden City or go to Sanlitun and the Workers' Stadium, transportation is very convenient. Plus, you can see the China Zun from here, which is a great view.
The breakfast time is from 6:30 to 10:30 at the restaurant on the first floor, and Happy Hour is from 17:30 to 19:30 in the executive lounge on the 16th floor. The breakfast is delicious, and they even have ice cubes, so you can enjoy iced orange juice even in the winter. The orange juice during Happy Hour tastes freshly squeezed and is even better than the breakfast juice, which is quite surprising! And guess what? Both the breakfast and Happy Hour offer chocolate that you have to break apart to eat, which is supposedly very expensive. If you like it, go for it! The French pastries are also amazing. Some may look ordinary, but they taste incredible and are a must-try. There are also Beijing snacks outside the hotel, like donkey rolls, so be sure to try them. As for the service, some people say it's not great, but the staff I encountered were very friendly, especially the cleaning lady, who made a very positive impression!
