There is a connecting walkway to the building. You will find it right away. -Take the Subway Metro Chuo Line (green line) and get off at Bentencho Station. Walk into the building that is a connecting walkway and look for the Art Hotel sign. When you find the hotel, walk to the other side and you will find the onsen. The atmosphere in front is magnificent. When you go in, put your shoes in the locker first. When you go in, the staff will explain the price and the important rule is that you must not be a person who has tattoos. Then, you will receive a wristband. When you buy something, use the wristband code to record your spending in the onsen. Let's go choose a beautiful yukata. There are staffs to recommend sizes. There are also sets for boys and girls. After getting the set, walk to the changing room. There are lockers for storing clothes and luggage. After changing clothes, we walked to the common area to explore and take pictures. The concept is Azuchi Momoyama era of ancient Japan. The area is 16,500 square meters. On the 2nd floor, there is a restaurant, a shop selling various products such as snacks, skincare products, sake, foot massage rooms, etc. It is similar to OOEDO ONSEN in Tokyo, but this place just opened. There are not many users yet. There is also a free photo service. This is what I got. If you want a larger picture, you have to pay more. After walking around the 2nd floor and being satisfied, take the elevator to the 5th floor. Exit the elevator on the 5th floor, the onsen for men and women are separated. [Osaka Solaniwa Onsen] Tips for a comfortable stay★

A spot where you can relax all day in a colorful yukata. After entering, a locker key (wristband) serves as a wallet, and you pay for everything when you leave. You can come empty-handed, but there are photogenic spots all over the place, so a smartphone is a must. It might be more convenient to have a small drawstring bag or sacoche. When using the rock bath, you borrow a bag containing a special rock bath and a large towel, and carry your towel and water in it. When entering the rock bath, you place your bag on a shelf at the entrance, but the location where you put it can move due to people's movements, and there are always people who don't know which bag is theirs. It's better to mark it by tying a handkerchief or wearing a decorative hair clip. I wasn't wearing anything, so someone must have mistakenly taken my towel and a new plastic bottle of water ( ；∀；) If you're getting a little tired, I recommend the [recliner area]. We went during Halloween so the outdoor foot bath had rubber duckies of all designs inside and I tried a soda bath indoors which is really interesting! Felt like I was in a soda can. I went to Sora Niwa Onsen, the largest hot spring theme park in Kansai, located in Bentencho❣️ The concept of the building is a perfect blend of the good old Japanese town of the Azuchi-Momoyama period and modern Japanese style, and there are many facilities to enjoy! 2nd floor: stone sauna, relaxation room, food and drink sales area 3rd floor: relaxation room 4th floor: rooftop Japanese garden 5th floor: large bath, private bath There are so many things to do that one day is not enough😅 Personally, the best thing about it was that I could read as many manga as I wanted without going into the stone sauna! And the food was very delicious! The portions were large and the price was reasonable! The photo shows a small drinking set that cost about 640 yen, with one alcoholic drink (there are several types) and a special dish (4 types) to choose from! The indoor clothing is very cute, so you can take photos in various places! There is a foot bath in the Japanese garden, so I was able to spend a relaxing time😌

Osaka was great and fun!

Tako yaki in dotonbori is must try food. Almost available on every shops and stalls Osaka castle is worth a visit. Cool park and long walk. Very clean and not crowded. If you come during cherry blossom, you will see beautiful colours of flowers and plants. Ticket can be purchased at Castle entrance. Public toilet is limited. So plan your drinks and meals carefully 🤣. I stayed Ark Hotel Shinsaibashi. Atop of osaka subways system and accessible on every corner of the buildings. I can easily access train service heading to Kyoto, it was beautiful journey. Foreign currency exchange kiosk(machine) available on every hot spot in Osaka, including most hotels. But the rates are not favourable. Subway/train fee can be purchased at Kansai airport upon arrival, or you can purchase Icoca or Suica card directly from your Apple Wallet . Very convenient and avoid long Q at kiosk machine. Unfortunately, during my visit payment for train service cannot be paid using credit/debit card. Public bus is convenient, and fix fare. You must enter bus through back door , and to exit proceed to front door and make payment via card of icoca or suica and cash (exact amount) around ¥200+- . Dotonbori is a must visit. Full of street food and shopping stalls. Shinsaibashi suji shopping street is tax free for tourist for receipt spending above ¥5000 , claim at the airport. Keep the receipt. Branded items are available here, including jewelleries and branded luxury watch like Tissot, Kuoe, Rolex and Longines. American village if you want more westernised cloth. Street are narrow and beware of incoming vehicles from behind . Universal Studios Osaka- good place and very very crowded and expensive. The best Onsen place ever!

It was really amazing that I would definitely come back! The onsens, the massages, the entire place - I regret I didn’t get in earlier which I was already there at 5pm, stayed still 11pm; I still have a lot yet to be explored. My 6-hour stay was like: - get changed and get familiar with the place - 1st round of Onsen - Massage for 90 mins - Dinner inside the complex - 2nd round of Onsen It’s really big as an Onsen place and you might easily get lost - they have a lit of different zones and their “processes” to walk through them is not user-friendly. Next time, I’ll definitely try their Hot-Stone zone as well as their amusement facilities.

#cherryblossom2024 It is recommended to visit the Sky Garden at Solaniwa Onsen. The roof top has an expansive Japanese Garden of more than 3,000 square meter. It is beautifully decorated with lights decorations. You can gently soak your feet in the foot baths while wearing the stylish yukata and enjoy the view of the trees and flowers. The footbaths extending all across the short side of the garden. Just find a spot you liked and enjoy the footbath and gaze at the garden. You also can find the Thousand Torii Arches and is a nice spot to take more photos and post on your Instagram. #cherryblossom2024 There are 7 different types of bedrock sauna in Solaniwa Onsen. Sauna will helps to warm up the body and to release sweat from our body. It is good for our health. You need to change into the bedrock sauna outfit before you can enter. But if you have any health issues such as high blood pressure, pregnant, heart issues or feeling unwell, it will NOT be recommended to go inside the sauna. After that, got to drink plenty of water to stay hydrates. Lay the towel that is provided to prevent burning the skin if you feel the floor is too hot. The place is big, spacious and clean. This is a place where you can relax your mind and body. The place is huge, spacious and clean. There is a few colors and designs of yukata to choose from. This time I traveled alone to Osaka and fully enjoyed the Soraniwa Onsen located at Bentencho Station, which helped me to get rid of all the tiredness after shopping. This time I bought the tickets on trip.com and used trip coins, which was really a good deal. The facilities are new and clean, self-check-out, clear instructions, and I was already choosing the bathrobe after lobby check-in. The only thing that travelers who have no experience in hot springs need to know is that there are three locker keys in total. The first key is for the shoe cabinet, the second key is for changing into a bathrobe, and the third key is in front of the large bath. After soaking in the hot spring, a bottle of milk was particularly nourishing. The whole experience was great.
