🌴 Thailand's Top Attractions: Island Wonders & Aquatic Adventures 🏖️🐠
Feeling the island breeze and soaking up the sun in Phuket has been an absolute dream! Here's the lowdown on the must-visit spots that made my trip unforgettable:
📍 Samui Island, Surat Thani, Thailand 🏝️
A tropical gem where the coconut trees sway and the sea beckons. Samui Island isn't just stunning; it's a vibe. From kayaking to jet-skiing, and even banana boating, there's no shortage of fun on Bo Phut Beach. And the airport? It's an open-air marvel where planes soar up close!
📍 Similan Islands, Phang-nga, Thailand 🐢
Dive into paradise at the Similan Islands, open from October 16 to May 14. These islands are a snorkeler's dream with vibrant coral reefs and a kaleidoscope of marine life. The blue-green waters are a swimmer's delight, and the local hospitality is as warm as the Thai sun.
📍 Ko Lipe, Satun, Thailand 🌅
Ko Lipe stole my heart with its crystal-clear waters and delectable street food. Whether you're lounging on Sunrise Beach or exploring the Walking Street, this island is a slice of heaven. Don't miss out on snorkeling - the underwater world here is simply magical.
📍 Koh Khai Nok, Phang-nga, Thailand 🐠
This tiny island is a big deal with its clear waters and friendly feline residents. Perfect for a half-day excursion, Koh Khai Nok offers a serene escape with snorkeling spots that showcase the colorful aquatic life.
📍 Ko Phi Phi Don, Krabi, Thailand 🌞
The bustling island life of Ko Phi Phi Don is a stark contrast to its peaceful beaches. A national park since 1983, it's a sun-lover's paradise with activities like diving, snorkeling, and even parasailing. The sunset views here are absolutely mesmerizing.
📍 Maya Bay, Thailand 🌊
Maya Bay is a world-renowned beauty spot that's bounced back brilliantly after a restoration break. Visit on a sunny day to see the shimmering waters and marine life at their best. Just remember, swimming is off-limits, but the view alone is worth the trip.
These spots in Phuket have left an indelible mark on my wanderlust soul. Can't wait to return to this island paradise!

Similan Islands in Thailand: Fun on the Sand
🏝️ On the first day, between the third and fourth dives, we'll head to the beach for some fun, taking a speedboat over 🚤. The island boasts a beach with clear waters and fine sand. It also resembles some of Hong Kong's country parks, with shaded areas featuring long tables and benches, restrooms, and a small store selling drinks, popsicles, and even feminine hygiene products for any emergency needs.
Additionally, there's a sailboat rock 🪨. It's just a ten-minute walk along the wooden walkway to reach the top of the rock. The path is not too difficult, but it's a bit tricky without proper footwear. Once at the top, you can enjoy a high-angle view of the entire beach, 🌊 with the captivating gradient of blue and green hues of the sea.

Similan Islands, be sure to finish reading before you go!
🏝️ You can only go to Similan with a tour group, it takes about 2 hours to drive from Patong to the pier, and nearly two hours by yacht from the pier to Similan, the last icon roughly indicates the location
Book the cruise package you want to take in advance, we booked Lightning No. 7, the guide will arrange for local drivers to pick up people from near to far (I was picked up around 6:00 in Patong)
It takes two hours to drive to the pier, sleep 💤 during the trip, have breakfast at the pier, they will distribute snorkeling socks, seasickness medicine, towels, and explain precautions, you can take seasickness medicine then
Departure, before boarding the boat, slippers will be placed in a big snake skin bag, remember not to take the wrong ones when disembarking
After boarding, sandwiches will be distributed, don't eat too much, many people will have symptoms of seasickness, eating too much will make it easier to vomit, here I experienced seasickness for the first time, dizziness, nausea, wanting to vomit, if you feel uncomfortable just close your eyes to rest or sleep, it will be much better
You can take beautiful yacht photos about half an hour after setting sail, here your hair, clothes, and makeup are all intact, good for photos
The first island landing is on Island No. 8, Sailing Rock, first go to the island to take pictures, then you can come down to take pictures of the glass sea, the snorkeling area is quite shallow and you can see some small fish, and there are many reefs, so I suggest everyone take more photos here, enjoy the beautiful scenery (duration about 1 hour)
After gathering and boarding the boat, there is a buffet lunch, rice, chicken wings, curry, fish pieces, many people complain it's not tasty, I think it's okay, mainly because playing is too exhausting, it's really not okay not to eat, there is free ice water and ice cola on the yacht
After eating, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the snorkeling spot of Island No. 9, you can change into snorkeling clothes, 🤿 and disposable mouthpieces will be distributed, 4 meters from the seabed, you can see small fish schools, tropical small fish are very brightly colored, take your mobile phone with a waterproof bag, make sure the rope is well checked and not loose, here you can play freely (duration 30 minutes)
After an hour's boat ride to Island No. 7 for the third snorkeling, then play freely, jump into the sea, watch the small fish, it will be cleaner here, I jumped into the sea 4 times, just snorkeled for a while
On the return trip, after boarding the boat, it is more comfortable to go to the yacht bathroom to rinse off and change into clean clothes, after all, it takes 2 hours to go back and you can sleep for a while, fruits and coconuts will be distributed on the boat
Must bring:
1️⃣ Swimsuit, wear it directly before going out, you can wear a snorkeling suit on the outside
2️⃣ Disposable underwear, super convenient to change on the return trip
3️⃣ Mobile phone waterproof bag
4️⃣ Sunscreen spray, 711 has coral-friendly sprays
5️⃣ Clean clothes to change into on the return trip
6️⃣ If you are not used to the local food, you can go to 711 in advance to buy some to take with you
7️⃣ Power bank, gopro (if you don't have one, no need to buy specifically)
8️⃣ Hair tie, it's best to tie up your hair when going into the sea, otherwise it flies around and obstructs the view
9️⃣ Quick-dry towel, the towel issued when you first land on the island will get wet, you can keep your own for the last return trip to rinse off, it's more comfortable to dry off and change into clean clothes

Recommended 5 must-visit attractions in Phuket for travel enthusiasts.
It's great to have a friend who loves traveling and recommends the top 5 must-visit attractions in Phuket for me without any worries.
✅Smirnoff Island
Located on the northwest island of Phuket, with crystal clear blue waters, it is both a diving paradise and a popular spot for taking photos. Sitting on the rocks, I could gaze at the sea all day.
ℹ️Attention:
Limited opening, only 150 days per year, from December to April of the following year.
Drawback: A bit far, recommended for a one-day trip.
✅Kamala Beach
Once a quiet fishing village, it is still relatively primitive now. If Dongba Beach is like Sanya Bay, then here is a bit like Dadonghai, at least there won't be too many people.
ℹ️Tip
It takes about 10-15 minutes by taxi or TUK-TUK to get to Patong Beach, and there are many scenic hotels on the beach. Consider staying here.
✅Karen Beach
The water in Shimei is blue, and the coastline is so long, just like Yalong Bay in Sanya. The sand is finer and feels comfortable to walk on. Surfing in the afternoon and watching the sunset in the evening is so enjoyable.
ℹ️Note: From May to October, the waves are particularly strong, so please be careful and stay safe.
✅Phuket Big Buddha
The Thai version of Guanyin in the South China Sea is a landmark building in Phuket, but personally I think our Guanyin is more beautiful. However, standing under the 45-meter-high statue and looking up is still very shocking~
✅Cha Long Temple
The largest Buddhist temple on Phuket Island, of course, must be checked in. There are 108 golden Buddhas enshrined in the temple, and the incense is flourishing. I also think the appearance of the temple is very beautiful.
ℹ️Located in the southern part of Phuket Island, 8 kilometers away from the southern part of Phuket City.
Address: Luang Pho Chaem, Chalong, Mueang Phuket, Phuket 83130.
Opening hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Observant friends may have noticed that all the attractions are on the west side. If planned well from top to bottom, next time we can visit the attractions on the other side.
As for how to get there? Hahaha, I'm a bit timid and dare not go alone. I'll just join my friends' group. If we come across good scenic spots, we can stay and play for a while longer. It's more convenient that way.

Breathtaking views from Elephant Head Rock
A must do activity is an hour boat ride to Similan Islands from Khao Lak, 2 hours north of Phuket. Thailand’s Similan Islands National Park, a group of 11 islands in the Andaman Sea, is one of the most pristine places in the world for diving. The islands boast picturesque landscapes with white-sand beaches, large granite rocks jutting out from the earth, dense jungles teeming with diverse fauna and flora, and crystal-clear azure waters. Similan island no. 8 is where the famous Elephant Head Rock is and one of the best instagram spots in Thailand. We had the best snorkelling there and was fortunate to swim with 2 beautiful turtles.

Similan Island tour
Took the love Amanda day tour with speed boat.
Tour includes hotel picket from phuket to the pier and offers simple breakfast at pier while waiting to board. I'm the first one to arrive in my tour hence waiting time was slightly long. Suggest to live and depart from the top part of phuket to minimize all the travel and waiting time.
water is so clear and snorkeling quality is great as visibility is clear. A lot of corols and different types of fish.
Tour include simple lunch. don't expect too much in the middle of the island. but they offer refill on some of the items. lunch was seafood soup, rice with omelet and fried chicken.

The Similan Islands
✅All around the Phuket Island you can buy a tour to Similan Island. It’s very famous tourist destination. Everything will be organized, you will just enjoy the views. Perfect variant for solo travelers 😉.
✅It’s a national park, access of tourists is limited. From May till October islands are closed for visitors. So, organize your trip accordingly. ✅The area is extremely beautiful!!! I’ve never seen such color of the sea! You can snorkel 🤿 there, walk in the jungle and visit a turtle base.
It’s possible to climb a hill. On the way you will find lots of photo locations.
This place is definitely worth of time and money that you will spend.
📍Recommended time - one day trip.

We arrived at Sailing rock which is the landmark of "Similan sea" at island 8 (Similand island) to relax and swim at beautiful Donald Duck bay (Ao Kuak). The sand of the Similan islands is named as the whitest sand in Thailand.
We had a wonderful time in island 4 (Koh Miang), and islands 5 & 6. We snorkled and appreciated the beauty of the underwater world, viewing fishes and corals with different forms and sizes.

Koh Similan of Thailand
The Similan Islands are found in the Andaman Sea off the west coast of Thailand, namely in Lam Kaen, Thai Mueang District, Phang-nga. Eleven islands make up the Similan archipelago. The Mu Koh Similan National Park, which spans 140 square kilometers, contains all of the islands.
The islands are ideal for those who enjoy diving and exploring lonely and barren locations teeming with wildlife. Koh Similan, the largest island, is perhaps the finest site to begin your journey. All of the Similan Islands are encircled by crystal clear shallow waters teeming with fascinating rock formations and beautiful coral reefs. In Thailand and the surrounding, the marine life around the islands is unrivaled.

Suberry
#awesomepic The Similan Islands is northwest of Phuket, about 5 hours away from the mainland of Thailand, and there are two small islands to the north. This sea area is a world-class diving destination. Because it is far from the land and there are no living facilities on the island, in order to allow more time for diving, most of the diving trips are to eat and live on board and dive directly into the sea. Similan's liveaboard diving is considered entry-level and inexpensive. The most popular 4 days, 4 nights and 15 dives package is about more than 4,000 yuan per person, including full fare, accommodation, diving equipment hire, etc., which can cover all the essence of Similan dive sites. We encountered the last minute special offer directly at the pier dive shop, and enjoyed the package of 5 days and 5 nights at the price of 4 days and 4 nights. You can also participate in the course at the same time as boarding and diving. From entry OW, AOW to advanced courses such as high oxygen, deep diving, DM, etc., you can participate, and the course fee is very cheap on the premise of reporting boarding. However, since most dive sites have a water depth of more than 20 meters, it is strongly recommended that students above AOW come to participate in boarding.

Smranland is located in the northwest of Phuket. It is a group of large and small islands. It is only developed from December to April, and it is world class. Diving paradise with azure sea and vast sandy beaches. You can arrange a day trip to the sea, you can go diving, swimming, or even just watching the sun in the island.
is a traditional festival in Thailand, every year from April 13th to 15th, for three days. In order to pray for the blessing of the New Year, all the fastings must be bathed in good spirits, and people will pour water on each other to wash away the sins of the body. Phuket Splashing Water is concentrated in Patong Beach and Patong Bar Street.
Phuket's liveliest beaches, and the most complete seaside resort for tourist facilities, shopping, bars, restaurants, coffee shops are mostly concentrated near Patong Beach, the night The more lively.
Phi Phi Island day trip
reported a day trip, packaged round-trip traffic, going out to the sea through Phi Phi Island, Maya Bay, Viking Cave and finally to Egg Island. Phi Phi Island is very individual, with numerous hills standing on the sea and wonders over the sea. Maya Bay, the beach is small and hidden in the jungle between the two mountains. The Viking Cave is also known as the Swallow's Nest Cave. There are many limestone caves under the hills on the island. Different caves are home to sea Swallows and wild monkeys. In order to protect the ecological environment, they only watch on the bed. Egg Island is very small, there is no pressure on the coastal island, the beach is beautiful, and the sea is very shallow, which is very suitable for family and children.
jungle leap
tied up with a seat belt, follow the coach and swing in the jungle, look for the day after the sea to try this exciting experience!
Karen Beach
Karen Beach is smaller than Patong Beach. If Patong Beach is like a big uncle, then Karon Beach is a calm and shy woman, the sun sets, come to the card The beach is quietly watching the sunset.
Taiwan
originated in Thailand, can not be said to be cruel but also rough and fierce, the scene is more visual impact. The Thai Boxing Gym is just opposite the Banzan Seafood Market. After eating the seafood, the competition is going on, but during the game, there will also be hawkers coming to serve beer.
If you go abroad for the first time, then my preferred travel destination is Phuket. The travel facilities are perfect, cheap and fun, and follow the itinerary!

The Similan Islands
Similan Islands, which are only open for 6 months a year, are the 9 islands in the northwestern part of Phuket, Thailand. They are famous diving sites because they are open every day from November to April and to the rainy season. It is forbidden to board the island in order to protect the natural ecology, so as long as you come to Phuket for a holiday, you will be willing to go to the Similan Islands as long as you are open during the opening hours, because it is really beautiful!
The most beautiful and undamaged islands in the Similan Islands, with a wide variety of marine life, the average tourist will be taken to snorkeling, the sea views seen in different areas are different, either deep or shallow or There are coral reefs or cute fish.
Similan Island's island hopping day tour will eventually be on the 8th island called "Ming Island, which is surrounded by white sand beaches. It is really comfortable to step on the beach, rest. I can still ascend to this sea area, seeing a pure blue is very beautiful, but barefoot on the stone exposed by the sun is still a little hot. On this island, you can go snorkeling as long as you want Wear the top cover and pounce on the surface of the sea to see the various small fishes swimming around you, but don't swim too far to pay attention to it.

Similan Island in Phuket is so beautiful❤🥰
#thailandtrip
You must go to Similan when coming to Phuket! The beauty that was originally planned to go straight out, for those who love the Glass Sea, go straight ahead! I have visited many islands of all sizes, and the sea blue of Milan is very different, so beautiful that I can hardly speak of it! 1 Six in the morning: Help pick up (Phuket Town) and arrive at the dock at about eight o'clock. The Chinese will be exiled to a small boat. Each person uses the color of their wristband as a unit. Breakfast can be served between the waiting dates, including Congee, sandwiches, Kakuang County and desserts. The use environment does not like to eat many flies. If you don't want to eat, you can take some sugar, fruit and seasickness medicine. Seastar Rainbow got on the ship at about 9 o'clock. The position on the ship is not important. Free towels are provided, and the mask is dark; Floating diving shoes and waterproof phone cases need to be brought with you, and there are also some expensive ones at the dock, around 390 yuan. It is recommended to buy them in advance at Deca or Central Phuket to measure when you were not on the boat when you were a child.

Back from Similan, here are some tips for you:
⚠️No matter what kind of boat you take, don't expect too much from the food😂. The food on the yacht is better than that on the speedboat, but still not as good as that in a restaurant. After all, you are at sea.
-
⚠️No matter what kind of boat you take, you will be picked up at the hotel at 5–6 am🚗, or 7 am at the latest, unless you stay in Mai Khao or Khao Lak. So, go to bed early the day before😪, and don't be late. The pick-up is a carpool, and the driver has to pick up other tourists. If you are late, the driver will leave👋.
-
⚠️Snorkeling🤿 is a must in Similan. The water is so clear. If you don't go snorkeling, why bother to go so far? If you can't swim, but want to try, it's ok. Just wear a life jacket🦺. Most boats in Similan offer 2–3 snorkeling sessions. You can try it, and give up if you are scared.
-
⚠️There will be more and more tourists after Similan reopens. Although there are free soft drinks on the boat, don't drink too much unless you are thirsty. Drink some water after snorkeling. There may be a queue for the toilet on the island or the boat, and the environment is not very good😂. The yacht is more spacious and cleaner.

⚠️The Similan day tour is tight. The snorkeling time is counted from the moment the boat stops⌚. If you have a diving certificate, you can choose a liveaboard tour. The schedule is not tight, and you can dive to see more mysterious underwater views🦈.
-
⚠️The panoramic photos and videos of Similan you see online are taken with permission. Drones are not allowed in Similan National Park🙅. You will be fined💰if you are caught.
-
⚠️Take a photo of your passport📷 and save it on your phone before departure. Similan will conduct random checks. You will be fined💰if you don't have your passport.
-
⚠️If you want to take photos during the tour, you can turn on the live photo function on your phone📱. Some Android phones also support live photos. If not, you can record a 4K video, and then take a screenshot or convert it to a live photo.
-
⚠️Bring some Thai baht with you. Although tips are not mandatory, you can tip the crew if you are satisfied with their service. You may feel more at ease if you tip the crew to look after your bag on the boat🚢 or when you go snorkeling☺.
-
⚠️If you are not sure whether you will get seasick, take a seasickness pill💊 30 minutes before departure. If you can't find it at the pier, ask the tour guide.
