Sheraton Xi'an Hotel - Prime Location: Sheraton Xi'an Hotel is located at No. 262 Fenghao East Road, Lianhu District, Xi'an, standing in the west of Xi'an, adjacent to the West Second Ring Road, close to the Xi'an High-tech Development Zone, and convenient to the city center, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Scenic Area, and Xianyang International Airport. - Complete Facilities: The hotel has 365 rooms (suites) with various room types. It has 4 restaurants and bars with different styles, offering Chinese and Western cuisine. 13 multi-functional banquet halls and meeting rooms can meet different meeting needs. There are also leisure facilities such as Sheraton Shine Spa, fitness center, and indoor swimming pool. - High-quality Service: The hotel provides a series of thoughtful services such as a business center, room service, laundry service, and wake-up service. Sheraton Xi'an Chanba Hotel - Prime Location: Located on the right bank of the Bahe River in the Chanba Ecological District in the east of the city, adjacent to the Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center, etc., it is only about half an hour's drive from the airport and the North Railway Station, and the transportation is convenient such as Metro Line 3. - Novel Facilities: As one of the first hotels in the Asia-Pacific region to showcase the new concept of the Sheraton brand, the lobby has a shared long table and other designs. It has 3 restaurants and 1 specialty bar, 1,730 square meters of banquet and conference space, a fitness center, and a high-altitude art swimming pool on the top floor. - Comfortable Environment: Various rooms and suites are warm and elegant, and the floor-to-ceiling glass curtain wall allows people to overlook the beautiful scenery of the Chanba Ecological District.

Where to stay in Xi'an? After some hesitation, I chose the "Sheraton Xi'an". I remember staying here frequently on business trips to Xi'an in 2008-2009, but then more hotels opened in Xi'an and the company moved to the High-tech Zone, so I never stayed here again. Coming back again, I was not disappointed: 🏨 The same simple courtyard, the same "Xi'an Restaurant" downstairs, everything seems to have never changed. The hotel opened in 1991 and should be one of the first "Sheratons" in China. It has a rich history and is still going strong. 🛏️ I booked a basic room and was upgraded to an executive suite (P3-7). The executive floor was renovated later and got rid of the original "simplicity". The executive floor is on the lower floor and the standard rooms are on the upper floors. 🍹 The lounge is also in the style of an old hotel, with a very spacious space (P8-9). There are no staff outside of Happy Hour, you need to swipe your card to enter. There are large bottles of drinks, beer, and cookies, but no canned drinks. Breakfast is not provided. From 17:00 to 19:00 during Happy Hour, there are noodle stalls and various main courses and desserts that are enough to fill you up. One day, they also made a big pot of "Meicai Kourou". Roujiamo, Liangpi, and Heshi are standard every day. For canned drinks such as soda and ginger ale, you still need to ask the waiter. 🥗 Breakfast is on the first floor (P10-13). There are no waiters to seat you, you can sit anywhere. I don't like this, after all, many people's eyes are just decorations and have no practical use. It happened once that someone else sat in my seat when I got up to get food. Breakfast is of the same standard as similar hotels. In a food paradise like Xi'an, you really can't eat too much for breakfast except for some fruits and vegetables. You have to save your quota for more delicious food outside. The coffee is commendable, and they have prepared a good selection of black coffee! 🚖 The hotel is located in the west of Xi'an city, so the location is a shortcoming. The surrounding area is not so prosperous for some reasons, and there is currently no subway. But in the face of cost performance and professional services, these are not problems. It is 2 kilometers away from "Datang Xishi", which is within walking distance.

🌱Value for money: Five-star hotel, after using a coupon, just over ¥300, unbeatable value. 🏠Room facilities: Contacted the front desk in advance to help upgrade to a suite, the room facilities are a bit aged but well-maintained. 📍Location and transportation: Near subway line 2 and bus stations, very convenient to get to the high-speed train station and airport. 🏋️‍♂️Gym and 🏊swimming pool: Both on the 5th floor, the pool is small, but there are quite a few treadmills in the gym, luckily not crowded, and there are paid coaching classes available. 🥪Breakfast: Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the first floor, with spaced seating arrangement, decent variety, including special snacks like spicy soup, jing cake, and oily tea. 🥢Restaurant: The executive lounge is on the 25th floor, with a nice view overlooking Weiyang Road. 🍃Service: The front desk is very enthusiastic, and they surprised us with a birthday cake for my mom's birthday stay, which was an unexpected surprise. The room service staff also proactively asked about the turndown service and gave us several extra bottles of water. Convenient and comfortable, recommended rating of 4.5 stars⭐️
