I've stayed at many 5-star hotels in Jakarta, including older ones like Mulia, Grand Hyatt, and Shangri-La, and newer ones like St. Regis and Fairmont. In my opinion, Shangri-La is in the top 3 in terms of hotel design, food, service, and value for money, probably because it suits Asian tastes. The Horizon Club on the 23rd and 24th floors is perfect for business meetings or working alone. It has a separate office area and meeting room, and the food is exquisite. Order a glass of wine or coffee and work quietly for half a day! It's also a great place to bring your kids for a weekend vacation. There's a children's play area on the outdoor lawn, a children's water park by the pool, and various children's activities at different times. It's especially suitable for preschoolers.
