#grouptravel Our group trip to Santorini was beyond magical! The island lived up to its reputation with its stunning views, whitewashed buildings, and deep blue sea. We stayed in Fira, which is the perfect base for exploring. One of the highlights was watching the sunset in Oia—absolutely breathtaking! We didn’t need to pay an entrance fee, just found a good spot on the cliffs with a view over the caldera. We also took a boat trip to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, which cost around €20 for the tour. Hiking up the volcano was surreal, and the views were incredible. Afterward, we swam in the hot springs—a perfect way to relax after the hike. Santorini’s nightlife was great for a group—lots of lively bars in Fira. And of course, the food was amazing! Cruising Through Paradise: Santorini Catamaran Experience
Santorini’s gorgeous coastline is best seen from the water. Hope on to a catamaran for a relaxing cruise tour around the island. If you choose the evening tour you can see perfect sunsets. Getting There - I joined a half day catamaran tour and got picked up by a van to go to the cruise. Attractions - 1. Red Beach This is a volcanic sand beach on Aegean island of Santorini. It is known for the distinct red colour. 2. Mesa Pigadia This is a small beach with dark blue crystal clear waters. Take time to admire the beautiful cliffs around. 3. Volcanic hot spring The cruise will stop at this natural hot spring and free to jump into the water to experience it. Food - The crew cooked delicious food for us on board, ranging from grilled meat to traditional greek salad and wine rolls. The way the sun dips into the Aegean Sea, turning the sky shades of pink, orange, and purple, is something you have to see to believe. There’s no entrance fee to enjoy the sunset—just find a good spot along the cliffs or book a restaurant with a view (though prices can be steep in those spots, around €30-50 for a meal). After the sunset, I wandered through Oia’s charming narrow streets filled with boutique shops and cafes. Attractions - Famous sites include Three Bells of Fira, the beautiful photogenic blue domes which perfect for photo taking. Recommend doing the Fira to Firostefani to Imerovigli trail on feet if you don't mind walking as that gives you a perfect view of the sea and unique buildings of Santorini. Also, take a day or sunset cruise to go around the volcanic islands and sail on the stunning Aegean sea. Hotels - There are many options to stay that allow you to get a perfect sea view, including Airbnbs, cave hotels and hotels with outdoor baths. Recommend staying in Fira or Oia for convenience and food options. Food & Restaurants - Try delicious greek food, gyros, fresh seafood and greek salads all around Santorini, with many shops concentrated in Fira town and Oia town. Shopping - There are many souvenir shops around, especially in Fira and Oia towns where most shops are concentrated. Whether it's the scenery or the service facilities, it surpasses all the 'little Santorinis'. This blue and white domed architectural complex built along the mountain has not yet found a city or town that can replace it. ‼️However, the shortcomings of Santorini must also be mentioned: 1. The public bus system is very chaotic, and the timetable is not integrated into Google Maps. However, you can get a paper timetable as soon as you get off the plane, which is generally accurate, with a margin of error of 10 minutes early or late. At popular attractions like Fira and Oia, you won't miss the bus. The roads are dusty, and people drive recklessly, making it unfriendly for non-self-driving tourists. 2. Accommodation in Fira and Oia is generally expensive, with restaurants offering good views costing at least 50💶 per person. 3. It's hot and sunny! 💡In summary, here is a suitable itinerary for summer and some photo spots: 1️⃣ Around 9 am, take Bus 10 from Santorini Bus Stop in Fira to Oia, which takes about 25 minutes. 2️⃣ The classic angle in Oia is the Picturesque Blue Dome Santorini (p12). In the afternoon, it's backlit, and around 11 am, you can take a photo after waiting for about 10 minutes. Walk along the main road of the town to the Windmill of Oia, which is a photo spot for the windmill. Both are in Oia. 3️⃣ Have lunch in Oia and take the bus back to Fira around 14:20. 4️⃣ It's recommended to rest at your accommodation until around 19:00 before going out. The light is good at that time, and the temperature has dropped. Fira itself is not very big. 5️⃣ Half an hour before sunset, you can walk to the I Love Santorini area, where the whole road is lined with sunset viewing platforms. 6️⃣ After sunset, you can slowly walk along the road to Viewpoint Fira at night, where the lights gradually come on during the blue hour. 7️⃣ Walk to the Santorini Cable Car - Upper Station, and it will be completely dark by then. 💡Here are two more photo spots where you can capture the sunset with the blue-domed church: 1. Santorini is one of the best greek island in the middle of the Egeo Sea. i want to reccomend this beautiful island becuase you can walk around on the top of the island, in the day and in the night. view a perfect sunset and sunrise. you can go to dinner in the top many restuarants you can choisr and drink something on the view top and see the perfect sea around Santorini. the sops is beautiful and the people is lovely. i recommend for all people traveling to Greece and stay minimum for 3 nights. you will feel so happy and relaxing times alone or with children's or in couple. don't forget: Santorini waiting for you.

a day trip in Santorini!!
we went to the volcano, hot springs and red beach. You can go hiking when you get to the volcano, but we only got 30 mins so walked around and took some pic. the water is super clear in red beach, we could literally see a bunch of fish in the ocean. it was about 30 euro per person for 6 hours. #travel #santorini #grecce

Fulfilled a bucket list travel destination: Santorini! It is really everything that everyone raves about and more. For a first-timer, stay in Oia, spend the extra cash to get a caldera-view accommodation and rent a car to see the best of the island in 3 days. You won’t regret it! Some highlights for me: sunrise and sunsets from my balcony, visiting traditional villages of Megalochori and Pyrgos, lunch at Ammoudi Bay, shopping in Fira, Oia and Firostefani (with caldera views!) and dinner at Metaxi Mas 💕 Sure, the crowds are out in the summer but there are many ways to find respite. #eurotrip #passionpassport Santorini is the Greek island that I liked the most. A place that I would recommend visiting at least once in your life. Santorini is one of the most famous islands in the world, there are few who have not seen the typical photo of its blue domed houses overlooking the Aegean Sea and even fewer who never wanted to teleport there. Enjoy its sunset, which for many is nothing more and nothing less than the best sunset in the world. A recommended point to observe it is from the Castle of Oia, yes, prepare to share the show with a few more people (in summer I won't even tell you)... If you prefer to see it alone, the sunset is actually incredible from any corner .

If beach ⛱️ is life dont stay @ the hills
Location : The Black Beach, Perissa, Santorini Best time to visit : If you hate crowds like me, Come here in Winter. The temperature here in Winter is PERFECT. Not Hot, Not Cold. But you still own that perfect tan without burning and peeling your skin 😂 after this trip..... My suggestion if you are a beach person and beach is your life. Do not stay at the hills. It will take you forever to reach the beach. Stay near the beach area, you can have breakfast every morning with and upfront beach view. Local bus available but limited. Taxis are limited too. I enjoyed my stay there as I ate seafood every single day. And it is cheap too. Freshly caught sardines deep fried, calamari battered and fried and their salad....GREEK SALAD IS BOMB YA'LL !!!! Greek dipping sause tzatziki goes with every thing and anything. Fries you dip with tzatziki is life! The sauce is cooling in nature and healthy to boot so eating it everyday is actually doing you good to your arteries. I fly direct from Athens to Santorini. Because cruising there is so main stream and wasting time. Maybe next time when I'm older and at a retirement age and bored of life I will 🛳 cruise around-the-clock. #passionpassport
