Every spring, I look forward to my date with the flowers. This year, the weather in Beijing was amazing, which added to the beautiful scenery. As soon as you enter the park, you'll feel like you've stepped into a spring painting. The peach blossoms are pink, the willow branches are green, and the birds are singing. Pavilions, waterside gazebos, and ancient courtyards complement each other. Koi swim in the lake, and swans, chickens, and ducks play freely. The scene of "a few peach blossoms bloom outside the bamboo, the ducks are the first to know when the spring river warms" is right in front of you, which is super poetic. However, this place is super popular now, and it's crowded everywhere. It's a little difficult to take wide-angle shots without people in them, but if you look carefully, you can still find many good photo spots. If you get tired of walking around, go to voyage coffee or Chunfeng Xixi in the park, order a cup of coffee and a dessert, flip through a book, and sit by the window with a full view of the spring scenery. While wandering in Caochang Hutong, I accidentally stumbled into a 'Jiangnan water town'. The two black swans at the entrance were lazily sleeping. Walking along the river, to my surprise, there was a queue welcoming service. Three geese stood upright, in a neat formation, without any slackness, looking very spirited! The sun was shining brightly, and as I continued along the river under the shade of the trees, I was attracted by a large tree covered with yellow and white flowers. As I approached, wow, the fragrance was refreshing. Its name was even more impressive - 'Violent Lilac'! The water lilies under the tree were already blooming, and various colored koi were frolicking under the lotus leaves, with two ducks weaving through them! Under the small bridge, a large group of koi gathered, creating a joyful scene! There was a beautiful fairy holding an umbrella and taking photos in front of the lotus pond, instantly transporting me to Jiangnan! The park has small alleys, it feels like shuttling through an ancient town in Jiangnan. Sitting in a café by the river, quietly daydreaming for an afternoon!

I made an appointment with my bestie to see the flowers. I thought there might be fewer people on weekdays, but I didn't check the weather forecast and chose the coldest day. It was chilly and the light was very bad. Whatever I shoot is in vain I feel like the flowers here are blooming a little earlier than at home. The magnolia and peach blossoms are about to wither.
