This visit came a decade after my last, and I felt everything in Hanoi had changed for the better. I appreciated this property; the hospitality from the club lounge staff was wonderful, with the location near Cat Linh station being very convenient and the classic hotel ambiance delightful. Most importantly, having hoteliers like Mr. Cuong at the lobby entrance is something to be proud of. I had booked a van shuttle from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay via a mobile app. Without a Vietnamese phone number, the driver couldn’t contact me and left without notice (OMG!). I was wandering, unsure of what to do! Although I hadn't requested help, Mr. Cuong noticed my predicament, approached me, and, sharing that he was also from Ha Long, offered a personal apology. He used his phone to arrange my next shuttle service. Upon departure, he assured me I could contact him if any issues arose. I’ve never met such a sincere and great lobby staff member in cities like Seoul, Tokyo, Barcelona, and New York. As you're aware, at Pullman, Mr. Cuong is handsome, though I can't share his picture publicly. I want to extend my gratitude to him once again. You truly saved my journey in Vietnam.

There was nothing to eat compared to other hotels that are cheaper than here, and I asked for ice because I wanted to drink whiskey in the room, but they just said there was no ice. 😢 The reusable amenities in the bathroom also have old stands, so when I pump them, they keep falling out and not pressing.. Personally, it was so-so.
