I loved how spacious my room felt, especially for Japan, and the large windows gave a great city view. The location in Honmachi was perfect—peaceful yet well-connected to major attractions like Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness center, which was a nice bonus. The only thing I would mention is that breakfast options were a bit limited compared to some larger hotels, but everything offered was high quality. Overall, a fantastic mid-range option for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Osaka!

The hotel is in a good location, about a 10-minute walk to Shinsaibashi The subway station is about a 5-minute walk away, but there are no 24-hour convenience stores nearby. The day before going abroad, I stayed at the Osaka Excel Hotel. It is close to Osaka's Honmachi Station and is on the Chuo, Midosuji, and Yotsubashi lines, making it easy to get to anywhere in Osaka. The hotel was very clean and seemed to have opened recently. (Osaka Excel Hotel opened in 2019.) One thing I found inconvenient was that the front desk was on the 16th floor. After checking in, you take the elevator for the rooms downstairs, and when going out, you take the elevator for the rooms, stop by the front desk, and then take the elevator downstairs.
