3 days 2 nights in Ao Nang - Sky, rain, waves and true relaxation
📍Trip overview
A trip to Krabi during the rainy season, where there was some sunshine, but it didn't matter because this trip we really intended to stay without doing much. Just sitting and watching the raindrops hit the water surface or walking along the beach when the sky was clear was enough.
🏖️Accommodation
Panan Krabi Resort
A resort with a peaceful atmosphere, not far from Noppharat Thara Beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a swimming pool that became the highlight of the trip. Because it rained sometimes, stopped sometimes. When the sun came out, we rushed to swim without having to compete with anyone. The atmosphere was really great.
🌊Rainy day activities
• Take a walk at Noppharat Thara Beach in the morning when the rain stopped. The cool wind carried the smell of the sea and pine trees.
• In the afternoon, take shelter from the rain and have a cool drink at Café 8.98 Ao Nang - a cool café with both good coffee and delicious snacks. It's perfect for sitting and reading a book. Watching the rain fall on the window
• In the evening, if the sky is clear, go for a walk along the beach road, feel the sea breeze, and watch the sun break through the clouds. It's a short and romantic moment.
🍴Restaurants not to be missed
• Dinner at the hotel - Delicious Thai food, indoor atmosphere, watching the rain fall, so enjoyable
• Wang Sai Seafood - A local restaurant with a waterside atmosphere. Ordered black crab stir-fried with black pepper, fried sea bass with fish sauce, and crab fried rice to share. It was so delicious that the whole table was quiet.
⸻
It rained almost the entire trip, but I didn't feel like it was a waste at all. Because the sound of the rain, the waves, and the cool, humid air made everything slow down, more comfortable, and became a true relaxation.
I didn't travel much on this trip, but I spent a lot of time with myself — and that's a gift.
