NOHGA HOTEL UENO is located a 3-minute walk from Ueno Station. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. When I choose a hotel, the first thing I check is the bathroom, so I was impressed. The art on the walls in lovely colors subtly expresses a Japanese feel, and the attention to detail in the interior and amenities was great. Of course, there was room wear and slippers in the room, but the slippers were fluffy and great, like those in a 5-star hotel! This tastefully designed hotel is strategically located in UENO, about 5 minutes walking distance from UENO JR Station, best for those who travel from Narita International Airport. It took only 40 minutes on Skyliner from Narita Airport directly to Ueno Station. Great for those who travel with kids, you don’t have to walk a lot and kids below 6 years old are free of charge. Furthermore, the hotel is so close to the famous Ameyoko Street, UENO Park, UENO Zoo and many other attractions. The convenient stores 7-11 and Lawson are just down the road. The room is spacious, comfy bed, I particularly like the rain shower and toilet. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. The price on weekdays is about 2k, and the increase on May Day was very restrained. After blind booking and checking in, I said I made a profit! Although the room configuration is similar to Atour and Mercure in China, I am already very satisfied to be able to easily spread out the suitcase~ The detailed design is even more considerate: the room type can be selected without a bathtub, which instantly saves hundreds of yuan, and the dry and wet separation is done to the extreme. The bathroom also has an independent dressing area; the B&O sound effect at the head of the bed is excellent, even if the room is full, you can't hear the neighbors at all, and the sound insulation is directly god-like! What's more rare is that the windows can be opened, which is simply a "rare species" in Japanese hotels! The hair dryer is in the cloth bag below the sink. The quality of the quick-cooking pots provided by the hotel is quite good. Toiletries are packed in small boxes on the washstand. There is a small coffee table and chair by the bed. You can enjoy supper here in the evening. The double bed was big and nice to sleep on. I like the simple style of the bedside table. It must be said here, The only small downside to the room was that the pillows were too soft.
