This time I chose to go to the Helan Mountain National Forest Park. and rock painting are two different experiences. Entering the scenic area, the sightseeing bus takes about twenty minutes to reach Songtao Villa, but the blue sky is still not visible; looking around, the peaks stand tall, but there is no greenery, only desolation and those resolute lines. Climbing the Poetry Path, we gradually enter the dense forest. Looking far ahead, the view suddenly opens up, the sky is so blue, the clouds are so white, and taking a deep breath feels like a weight lifted off the shoulders. The tour route is well-established, and we chose the big loop. Songtao Villa → Poetry Path → Qingsong Ridge → Wangyue Pavilion → Qingsong Ridge → Century Tower → Tu'er Pit → Tiger's Den and Dragon's Lair → Fork Junction → Happy Forest → Twin Lion Peaks → One Line Sky → Cherry Valley, and the bus returns to the scenic area entrance. The entire journey is 6km, nearly 5 hours. From Qingsong Ridge to Century Tower and then down the mountain, it is mostly primitive mountain roads, with only a few steep sections having cement or steel steps. Rocks, gravel, soil, pine cones, pine needles, fallen leaves, and exposed tree roots form natural steps.
