Honestly one of the best weeks I've had in a long time. From the second we walked into the reception of the hotel, we knew it was special. The welcoming staff, the open spaces, the shuttle rides around the resort, the restaurants, and of course, the villas were all exceptional. After a stressful year, this was the week we needed to feel peace and to refresh our minds. The beach is exclusive, the ambiance relaxing, the infinity pool is stunning, the breakfasts are delicious, and the sunsets leaves you speechless. It's been almost a month since we checked in, and I've thought about the Royal Sands every day since. We will be back.

Two main types: tent rooms and jungle rooms. Straw hats and rattan baskets were available for use. It was convenient to pack towels and other items in the basket when heading to the beach. 🍛Breakfast In addition to the buffet, you can choose from several main dishes. I ordered fried rice, which suited the Korean palate. Enjoyed some leisure time on the private beach and had a romantic moment working on the beach with a cup of coffee ordered from the hotel cafe!

You can see bioluminescence there every night (sometimes on the shore, others you need to take a boat for a few minutes), and it’s absolutely breathtaking. The perfect paradise Island escape. After a warm welcome at the harbor lounge and a 40 minute boat trip in a fantastic clean and safe speed boat we reached the tropical bliss island. The amazing Song Saa team gave us a lovely welcome and we felt immediately the good vibes and professional care from everyone. Can’t say how amazed we were about the Song Saa team. We stayed at one of the stunning private ocean front villas. Dipping into our private pool every morning, having an outdoor shower, hanging out at our lounge bed… always with the great view off the ocean and the house reeve. The villa was very spacious and beautifully designed.

There are various rooms types, including city view and sea 🌊 view. The staff there are friendly and they provide fast service, especially check-in and checkout service. The price is acceptable, ranging from 50$ to 250$. It’s may go up and down during holidays . There are big parking 🅿️ spaces here. However the swimming pool is not kid friendly. Why spend everyday in the noisy city when you can have beautiful & peaceful beach days just a 2.5hour drive from Phnom Penh? Most people see Sihanoukville as just a departure point to the islands but it is so much more than that! Currently still under development, Sihanoukville is a true hidden gem. We stayed in cool bohemian cottages just a 7min walk from the beach and spent everyday either swimming at a nearby resort or hanging out at the beach. Here are some of my favourite spots to check out: 1. Address - Brown Coffee - Seaview Oucheteal Beach Highlights - Tasty coffee, many beverage options and a scenic seating area right on the beach. If you’re a morning coffee person then be prepared to wait in long queues. Rating - 5/5 2. Address - Otres Beach Highlights - the beach is practically untouched and there is so much relaxing space in the sun and in the shade. The water is crystal clear and makes for a calming swim. Rating - 4/5 3. Address - Papa Pippo Resort Highlights - If you order a drink/food you can use their pool and WiFi. This is a great spot to hangout if you’re not in the mood for the beach. They play good music, have friendly staff and provide an overall positive atmosphere. Who doesn’t like a cocktail while dipping their feet in the water? When you arrive to Koh Rong Sanloem pier, hotel will send small boat to pick you up and drive in front of the hotel. Front desk welcome us with a drink and check in was fast and easy. Room was very nice and hotel environment is amazing, everything so clean, they paid attention to every detail. Swimming pool next to beach, white sand, tasty food are just some of the things you will experience at this hotel. Down the beach there are few bars where you can check nightlife, eat some local food, drink cocktails and etc. Also you can take some boat tour and explore other beaches around the island and enjoy in sunset. A great Asian restaurant that serve delicious breakfast and drinks. It’s located in PTT petrol station. I really appreciate the owner who came up with several style of decorations to satisfy various groups of customers. These pictures are taken from De Mug VIP room. The staffs are polite providing good and fast service. The foods are nice and serve in large amount with proper price. Everything look clean. Koh Rong Samloem Island is a Cambodian Island in the Gulf of Thailand with crystal clear water. if you don't want to hike, Sky beach is good for you, and if you love adventure and want to walk 1 hour from Sky beach to Lazy Beach. Local people can understand english and are very approachable and helpful. But before you go there, you must put cash in your pocket since there's no ATM on this island. There are some restaurants that offer you cash out thru online banking/swipe in Sky & Seracen restaurant but they charge 6%-10% per transaction. I took a trip to the most beautiful place my eyes have ever seen - Koh Rong Sanloem which is an island forming part of beautiful Cambodia. In order to get to the this majestic island you can take a ferry from Sihanoukville for approximately 20USD. On the island you’ll find plenty of resorts and hostels. The beach has crystal clear waters which you could literally swim in all day. I honestly enjoyed myself on this island and felt rejuvenated again♥️

Sihanoukville Known as Sihanoukville, it is located on the southwest coast of Cambodia and named after Prince Sihanouk. It is the largest seaport in Cambodia and the second largest city outside the capital, Phnom Penh, with a status similar to that of "Shenzhen" in China. Sihanoukville is a town in south of Cambodia overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Prestine white be the beaches, clean water and year round sun make this area a perfect place for a few days relaxing or remote working with value time. Although surounded by the sea do take your time to pick the beach you prefer as some can be very busy. Around the beach there will be places that offer food and drink and many locals go the beach on days offvto meet friends, eat and drink. For a quieter experience you can go to Prek Treng Beach or smaller beaches around there north of the city. Just rent a three wheel tuktuk for the day (agree price and pay at the end) it will take over an hour by tuktuk or take a boat to one of the islands, about one hour sailing from the harbour, where you can also stay overnight. The town has a local airport with domestic and some regional flights. Cheaper ways of travel are the train to Phnom Penh or one of the many busses leaving throughout the day for various towns.

Nice place to catch the golden hour. It can be crowded at some spots but you can choose where you want to sit down. Nearby a lot of guest houses/hotels and it has a lot of food vendors where you can enjoy local food and drinks. Nice beach, white sand. August and September are less crowded, so it is a great time to enjoy and relax for just yourself. There is a limited place to eat so it is a good idea to bring your own foods and drinks, BBQ seafood would be fantastic. The hotel rate is reasonable for this time. Family and friends gatherings are highly recommended.

It’s been long time for me to come to Sihanouk Ville. The place have changed a lot, yet the beach remain beautiful as ever 💜. There are many coffee shops, for those who love to explore coffee shop like me will definitely love them. The one in the photo is called ‘Brown Coffee’ a Cambodia Brand coffee shop, which have many branches all around Cambodia. And here, Sihanouk branch, is located by the beach so you can enjoy both coffee and the beautiful view that spread in front of you. Oh! There are many place for people to visit such as Independent beach, white horse beach, Sokha Beach and so on, but the popular and attract more people to come were O Chher Teal Beach and Otres Beach. Both are connected to become the longest one that can receive more than 1,000 personal cars of tourists to visit there. We can lay on or swimming to relax with fresh air and good environment. Seafood here are fresh. You can cook many kind of yours favorite. Especially we just spend around two hours from Phnom Penh to arrive the beach on the High speed road PHN-SHN. Cheers.
