The water is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom of the river, and the beautiful blue color. Depending on how the sunlight hits it, it shows off a variety of colors. 📍BLUE BREW Craft Beer Brewery & Taproom A craft beer brewery has opened in the Niyodo River basin. It is located in what is probably the most remote area for a beer brewery in Japan, and the beer makers are a married couple who immigrated from the United States. The person who set up the brewery and brews the craft beer is Kenneth Mukai. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and recently moved to Niyodogawa Town with his wife Masako. Niyodogawa Town, where "BLUE BREW" is located, is the prefecture's leading tea producing area. With a commitment to incorporating the bounty of Kochi Prefecture into craft beer, they have developed a beer using tea, and offer 12 types of craft beer. They also have beers using sweet potatoes, ginger, and Japanese pepper, making use of the region's proud agricultural products. 📍Mt. Nakatsu Myojin Elevation 1541m. Rising up on the border between Ehime and Kochi Prefectures, Mt. Nakatsu Myojin has no other mountains nearby, and if the weather is good, you can see all the way from Tosa Bay to the Seto Inland Sea. In 2012, a 12km trekking course was developed from Nakatsuyama to Karaike to Mizu no Toge. The summit is also the fourth takeoff point of Agawa Sky Park. I tried SUP on the Niyodo River! It was so much fun to relax in the vast nature and try out some parts with a little current!
