It was awesome to see the beloved One Piece character right there in real life! The setting was perfect, surrounded by a beautiful, open space with greenery and flowers. The mix of nature and Luffy’s cheerful vibe made the whole spot feel lively and exciting. I couldn’t resist taking tons of photos, striking poses like a pirate alongside him! The scenery around the statue was lovely, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the view after snapping photos. LUFFY statue, part of the ONE PIECE Kumamoto Revival Project, stood proudly at the Promenade in front of the Kumamoto Prefectural Office. Created by native Eiichiro Oda and Shueisha, it symbolizes support for areas affected by the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake.
