I had pasta lunch at "CENTRE M" at Tokyu Stay Mercure Osaka Namba 🎶 Here, you can choose the type of pasta you like! By the way, I chose fettuccine! There were about 4-5 types of pasta on the menu! Had such a lovely stay at Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba. The check-in process was quick and easy. Staffs are able to communicate in English and very friendly. The room was spacious compared to other hotels that I've surveyed. The location itself was great as it was in between 2 great shopping and tourist district. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you're coming to Osaka! 👍

#japantrip I recently stayed at the Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba and would like to share my experience. Room: The room was of standard size, slightly more spacious compared to similar hotels in Tokyo. However, the interior design featured a dark theme, which, combined with limited natural light, made the room feel quite dim. Some of the rooms (Standard rooms DO NOT have) include a washing machine—a convenient feature for longer stays. Lounge Area: The lounge was adequately equipped for working or relaxing while waiting. Location: The hotel’s location is excellent—situated across the street from Shinsaibashi and a short walk to Dotonbori. There is convenient access to Don Quijote and other stores, convenience stores, and izakayas.  Overall: While the hotel’s location is a significant advantage, the dark ambiance and limited gym facilities may be considerations for some travelers.

If you are looking for a relatively more affordable stay in the Osaka Namba area, I would certainly recommend the pretty new Mercure Hotel! It has decent sized rooms and is furnished in a contemporary manner. Most room types also come with a bathtub and shower. The reception area is quite inviting as well, plus it is located near the famous Dotonbori shopping area. #OsakaHotel STAY Mercure Hotel Osaka Tokyu This is an apartment hotel owned by the Tokyu Resort Hotel Group It has locations in tourist cities across Japan This one in Namba, Osaka opened in December 2022 Each room has a washing machine It can accommodate 2~4 people depending on the room type The hotel is decorated in an understated luxury style The location is right next to the shopping street of Heartland You can walk there a few minutes downstairs Walk to Namba Station or Shinsaibashi Station is 3~4 minutes Great location So it is very convenient whether it is with children or elders There are many green plants in the hotel lobby It looks very comfortable Front desk staff is available in Chinese or English Don’t worry about language Check-in was quite fast The rooms have a sense of design Although the inside is not big However there is no problem opening the two large suitcases The room is fully equipped with supporting facilities Overall very satisfied with great value for money!

Today, I would like to recommend Mercure Tokyo Stay Osaka Namba. I stayed there in December 2024 (approximately 6,794฿ per night, split among 3 people). The hotel has an excellent location, just across the street from Namba. Behind the hotel, there is a famous yakiniku restaurant called Yakiniku Dondon (reservation required). - 🛌 The room is not cramped, but with three beds, there is no space between them. The bathroom and shower are separate, and there is a bathtub 🛁. After walking 20,000 steps a day, soaking in the tub is the best feeling 😂. - 💡 However, the room lighting is not very bright, making it a bit difficult to do makeup. There is no full-length mirror. The hotel's decor is somewhat dark, from the elevator to the hallways. - 🧺 The hotel has a coin-operated laundry room, but you need to get the key from the front desk. The machines might not be available; ours was free at 11 PM. Once done, you need to return the key by 1 AM (2 hours). Overall, it's quite convenient, and the staff are nice. However, due to the high number of guests, the staff initially sent us to a room that was already occupied (they gave us a key card, and we opened the door to find someone else's belongings, luckily no people, or it would have been quite a shock 😅). We had to go back and get another room, but they didn't provide an extra bed for us. We ended up wasting time changing rooms.

They attended to feedback within 10 mins and also allow you to loan universal adapter and nail clippers and etc when you need it. I have booked the standard room with queen bed. Beside having the lobby at level 1, is also have a small bar area for you to order drinks. Level 2 allow you to sit at that area to relax and also have a pool table. If you purchase with breakfast, the breakfast will be served on level 2 with various type of food and I must said that the food are really not bad. The staff at Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba is praised for their friendliness and efficiency. I stayed in the room for 6 consecutive nights. The room was very clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the space was spacious. There were 3 magnetic stickers on the door of the room (I forgot to take a photo). You can freely decide whether to clean the whole room, change towels and remove garbage, or do not disturb. If necessary, just stick it outside the door before 11 am every day. If you only want to remove garbage, you can also put the trash can at the door and the cleaner will clean it. It is very flexible. The front desk staff are very friendly and have a warm smile. The hotel is very conveniently located near Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori shopping streets. Shinsaibashi is just across the street, making it very convenient for daily shopping. Daimaru Department Store, LV flagship store, Chanel, etc. are just across the street. It is a 10-minute walk to Nankai Namba Station and Takashimaya, making it very convenient to go to the airport and shop. The only downside to the hotel is that the lighting is too dim and I can't see clearly when putting on makeup.

The hotel we stayed at for the next 3 nights in Osaka (2/10-13) was Mercure Osaka Namba Tokyu Stay. To be honest, the name of the hotel is so long that it took me a while to remember it. This hotel opened on December 1, 2022, so it is a brand new hotel. Moreover, this hotel is located in the alley of Midosuji. As soon as you walk out of the hotel, you can reach the famous brand street. It is only a five-minute walk from Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. It is really convenient.  This hotel was jointly created by Japan's Tokyu Stay Group and Mercure, a brand under the French Accor Group. The hotel lobby has a high ceiling and green wall design, and every corner here is very aesthetic when taking photos. The hotel's elevator is very colorful, but when you get to the corridor on each floor, you will feel that it is too energy-saving! The lights are not on! It felt like I was back at the Grand Champs-Elysées, and it even felt like the atmosphere was darker than at the Grand Champs-Elysées. 🤣The room is also dark, but I personally think that apart from the corridors and rooms, the hotel is actually very classy. I booked a 3-night (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) room on Trip before the hotel opened for the most basic deluxe king-size bed room, excluding breakfast, for NT$6,999. The average price per night was NT$2,333, which is really cheap! (It seems to cost more than 3,300 yuan now). Finally, I would like to remind you that many hotels in Japan and South Korea do not provide disposable items, such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, so in order to protect the earth, you should prepare some when you go out and stay!
