Dining at Menya Joroku in Osaka was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was top-notch, making me feel right at home. There was a long queue outside even at around 9pm but it was worth the wait(45min). I started with their famous okonomiyaki, which was a perfect balance of crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, packed with savory flavors. The rich, smoky notes from the sauce, combined with the freshness of the ingredients, made each bite a delightful experience. It was clear that every element was carefully crafted, showing off the skill of the chefs behind the scenes. Next, I indulged in their yakisoba, which turned out to be equally impressive. The noodles were perfectly stir-fried, retaining a slight chewiness while absorbing the umami-packed sauce. The vegetables were fresh, and the pork added a satisfying richness that balanced everything perfectly. Each dish felt like a love letter to traditional Osaka street food, expertly elevated. Worth for a try and Ramen is super delicious! The restaurant only offers limited seats by the Ramen bar - only around 10-12 tables. The shop is opened at 11.30am and recommended to go earlier as it will be a long waiting queue! There is no video recording allow, so please kindly note that. Overall the soup is dark soy based and it is not salty at all! Will definitely pay a visit again!
