Touching Dolphins in Tokyo with Kids

Last December, I went to Maxell AquaPark in Shinagawa, Tokyo with my child. It was about a 7-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, so it was easy to walk with my child, and the route was easy to find. The admission fee is 2,500 yen for adults, 800 yen for infants, and free for children under 36 months. If you reserve in advance on Trip.com, you can buy it for about 5% cheaper. There was also a free photo event when you entered, which was pretty good as a souvenir of the trip.
The first floor is a jellyfish exhibition hall, and the lighting was nice, but overall, it was disappointing. However, when you go up to the second floor, the real attraction begins. In the underwater tunnel, fish swam overhead, and there was a penguin show, so my child had a lot of fun. There were also capybaras and insects on display, so we were able to see various creatures up close.
The dolphin show was the most memorable. It is free to watch, and the performance was rich and fun. For an additional fee, you can touch the dolphins. It costs 800 yen per person, and one elementary school student can accompany one adult for free. If you buy two experience tickets, your child can experience it twice, taking pictures once and experiencing it together the other time. Since it is an indoor space, it is not affected by the weather, and the route is simple, so it is good for a half-day trip. If you are looking for an indoor attraction in Tokyo to visit with children, this is a place I would recommend.
