Meizhou + Heyuan Road Trip || Five Days and Four Nights of Fun|||😉😉 Taking advantage of the short holiday, I decided to travel around Meizhou and Heyuan (basically the only places in the province I haven't been to yet). It was a five-day, four-night self-driving tour. I planned my route and the attractions I wanted to visit in advance. On a beautiful afternoon, I hit the gas and set off!!🚗🚗
✅This itinerary:
Day 1: Depart the night before and arrive in Meizhou - check in to the Meizhou Federal Hotel - Meizhou Jiangbei Old Street - Youluo Street
Day 2: Dapu County Hua'e Tower (ticket 10/person) - Fuda Ceramic Cultural and Creative Industrial Park (ticket 10/person) - Dapu Jiaozi River Beach - Thousand Buddha Pagoda - Academician Square - Zhongshan Park - Guidu Park - Qinshui Park - Night tour along the Mei River (ferry available at the pier) - Kedu Plaza
Day 3: Lingshan Temple - Shengshou Temple - Songkou Ancient Town - Heping East Road - Meidong Bridge - Shiziao Reservoir - check in to a B&B near Huo Mountain
Day 4: Huo Mountain Scenic Area (ticket 125/person, including glass walkway + magic carpet) - Linzhai Ancient Village - Shuibai Ancient Village - Yinxiang Xintiandi - check in to the Heping Century Hotel
Day 5: Longjie Town Dongpu Village - Yunji Mountain Nature Reserve [ticket 24 yuan/person (including Yunji Ancient Town + Yunji Mountain) + parking fee 10 yuan/car] + Hot Spring Tourist Area - Liuxihe National Forest Park - Conghua Liangkou Town Xitou Village Tourist Area
❇️This concludes the five-day, four-night trip.👣👣If you have more time: Yannanfei Tea Plantation Scenic Area, Ketianxia Hakka Town, Wanlv Lake Scenic Area, Baihou Ancient Town Tourist Area, China Hakka Museum, Pankeng Scenic Area, Five Finger Rock, Meizhou Wuhua Hot Mud Spa Resort, Longguizhai Waterfall, etc., are all worth visiting.👀👀
👍🏻Specialties: Pickled noodles, Jidi soup, stuffed tofu, Xianrenban, salt-baked chicken, Meicai pork, Hakka meatballs, fried fish powder, Qilu cake, etc.
Many attractions in Meizhou are far apart, so it might be inconvenient if you're not driving. Personally, I think Jiangbei Old Street, Thousand Buddha Pagoda, and Songkou Ancient Town are worth visiting.
