Beijing 7 Days Itinerary
📍 Itinerary Overview
Our 7-day journey to Beijing was a perfect mix of modern pop culture, iconic sights, comfort, and tasty discoveries. Every day felt like a new adventure — from collecting cute figures to exploring historical landmarks and enjoying high-tech convenience.
🏠 Accommodation – Livefortuna Hotel
We stayed at Livefortuna Hotel, which honestly felt more like a cozy apartment. It had everything we needed — a washing machine, kitchen, and even homey touches that made our long stay comfortable. It was spotless and stylishly decorated, giving off a “home away from home” feeling. Perfect for couples! It was sparkling clean, beautifully designed, and surrounded by amazing street food spots. We loved coming “home” here each night.
🚩 Sightseeing Highlights
• Teamlab
We started with Teamlab, and wow — the interactive light exhibits were magical. Booking tickets early through Trip.com saved us money and time. Definitely a must-visit.
• Beijing Zoo
Although it was winter and many animals were indoors, the dolphin and seal show stole the spotlight. A beautiful moment that stayed with us. If you go to Beijing Zoo, don’t miss this performance.
• Universal Studios Beijing
What a blast! We used the official app to buy tickets and 5 express passes, through the Universal Beijing app, which helped us skip long lines and made the whole experience much more relaxing. This gave us more time to stroll around and enjoy the vibe — stress-free.
• Wangfujing Street
A shopper’s paradise with a mix of global brands and local charm. The design of the area itself was impressive!
• Tiananmen Square & The Forbidden City
Unfortunately, we didn’t register in time via WeChat for the Forbidden City, so we admired it from the outside. A reminder to always book early!
• POP MART Heaven 💖
One of my personal highlights! Beijing has the BEST Pop Mart stores, and I totally lost control — ended up getting 20 figures 🫣. Each store had unique interior design and themes, so visiting them was a mini adventure in itself. If you’re a Pop Mart fan, this city is pure treasure.
📶 Connectivity
We used an eSIM from Trip.com — super reliable. We accessed Instagram, Facebook, YouTube smoothly without a VPN. No hassle at all.
