I can't handle alcohol, but there are many sweet and easy-to-drink drinks here. I tried a few, and even though I'm a lightweight, I could handle the wine baby. The Halloween decorations were cute. One of the two major fireworks festivals in Fukuoka, the Chikugo River Fireworks Festival The 2022 festival will be the first in three years. Every year, there are two launch sites, and both can be seen from the riverbed! At around 4:30, there are few people reserving spots, so you can choose relatively freely. The number of people increases dramatically from around 6:00. "Unagi no Tomi-san" has a retro storefront. I ordered the ladies' set steamed in a bamboo steamer. My friend ordered the regular steamed in a bamboo steamer. Both were around 2000 yen and were filling.

An udon restaurant in Jojima-cho, Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture 😌 This is a famous noodle factory that has been in business for over 70 years and is known locally for its noodles ✨ The specialty here is "Ankake Tomato Udon" 🍅 When I first heard about it, I thought "Tomato and udon 🙄!?" But my friend highly recommended it, so I decided to go... I ordered it, half in doubt that it would be that delicious 🤔 It's filled with lots of chunky tomatoes, and goes well with the Parmesan cheese and olive oil sauce! #Spring0yenTrip I went to see the Great Kannon Statue of Saviour and Compassion in Kurume! The huge 62m tall Kannon can be seen from afar, and the closer I got the more overwhelmed I was 🙏✨The gentle expression of the Kannon is very calm, and just looking up at it calms the mind. You can also go inside, and one of the attractions is that you can see the Kurume cityscape from the window when you climb the stairs 🌆. There are seasonal flowers and Buddha statues scattered around, so I enjoyed walking around. In the quiet and solemn atmosphere, I naturally wanted to put my hands together.
