Tokyo's Urban Oasis
Koishikawa Korakuen is one of Tokyo's oldest gardens.
In the garden, you can enjoy the beauty of all four seasons and participate in various traditional cultural and seasonal events. Throughout the year, you can see seasonal flowers in Koishikawa Korakuen. In spring, not only azaleas and wisterias but also water lilies, irises, and weeping cherry blossoms bloom. In summer, there are crape myrtles, in autumn, spider lilies and maple leaves, and in winter, camellias, sasanquas, and plum blossoms can be seen.

Closed: December 29 - January 1
During event periods or special holidays, the garden may be open on closed days or have extended hours.
Admission fee: General 300 yen, 65 and over 150 yen, free for elementary school students and younger
Free admission days: Greenery Day (May 4), Tokyo Citizens' Day (October 1)
Transportation from Tokyo Station:
From Tokyo Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Korakuen Station, about 9 minutes, fare 170 yen. From Korakuen Station, it's an 8-minute walk.
Transportation from Shinjuku Station:
From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Sobu Line to Iidabashi Station, 12 minutes, fare 160 yen.
