Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a temple registered as a World Heritage Site or what Thai people like to call "Clear Water Temple", is a temple that is a destination for many people who intend to visit Kyoto. Today, we will take you to visit Clear Water Temple, which is more than just praying for blessings. 🫖 Starting from the path up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple or "Teapot Street", which in Japanese is called "Go-Jozaka" because there are cute pottery shops lined up along both sides. And this road is full of souvenir shops and famous Kyoto sweets all the way to the temple. Some shops will even let you try them for free. 🧁 Must-try sweets include Cream Puff from Yatsuhashi and triangular mochi, which is a unique characteristic of Kyoto. ⛩️ When you get to the entrance, buy a ticket to enter the temple for adults for 400 yen. When you walk in, you will see the entrance gate and the three-story pagoda called the Nio-mon Gate. ⛩️ Then walk to the main hall of the temple and you will find a staff. The first time I went to Kyoto was during the maple leaf season. The Kinkaku-ji Temple, the Sagano Scenic Railway, and the Kiyomizu-dera Temple surrounded by a sea of red and green leaves left me in awe of Kyoto! Last summer, I went to the Kifune Shrine just to try the flowing noodles. Although the line was too long and I didn't get to eat, I enjoyed water fortune-telling and soaked up plenty of negative ions. This April, I came back to chase the cherry blossoms. Even though they weren't in full bloom, the weather was perfect as I strolled along. I enjoyed the seventy percent bloomed Yoshino cherry trees, a century-old Western-style restaurant, authentic sukiyaki, and more, satisfying both my eyes and taste buds. Indeed, Kyoto is my favorite place, without a doubt!

Some say 'Kyoto is in Japan, but the real Japan is in Kyoto.' There are many cherry blossoms in Japan, either in clusters or a particularly large one in a courtyard style. And the most famous among them is the century-old cherry tree at Sanneizaka in Kyoto. To shoot the blue hour cherry blossom scene, one must wake up early, get up at 4 AM and arrive by 5 AM. There are hardly any people shooting, most are around Yasaka Pagoda. The beauty is visible to the naked eye, live photos straight out. By 6 AM, it starts to get crowded, and by 6:30, it's practically overflowing. Kyoto day trip without taking the wrong path Route: 1. Kiyomizu-dera 2. Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka 3. Yasaka Shrine 4. Gion Hanami Lane 5. Fushimi Inari Shrine The first four checkpoints are all together, follow my route and you won't take a detour, after visiting these four, just switch to the subway, bus, or take a taxi to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Although there are many people in Kyoto, Kyoto is so distinctive, it looks good no matter how you take pictures. Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka are also the most crowded places in Kyoto, it's better to get there around nine o'clock for photos, as there will be relatively fewer people, and it gets very crowded at noon and in the afternoon. There are many small alleys in Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka to explore, some alleys are less crowded and look great for photos. There are also many shops in the scenic area that rent kimonos and offer makeup services, and the costumes make the photos even better. You can spend a whole morning exploring Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, and then head to Yasaka Shrine, which I think is just average, right across the street is Gion Hanami Lane. Fushimi Inari Shrine requires a change of transportation, I suggest spending an afternoon there, because it's big and beautiful, great for taking pictures. We love Kyoto for its architecture as well as its rich history. Walking our way up to Kiyomizudera just before its closing time around 5:30pm and we were so delighted to catch the golden hour here. The sunset shine beautifully on the temple and its surroundings. It is interesting to know that most of Kiyomizudera’s buildings have been destroyed numerous times due to fire, and have been rebuilt again and again. Most of the present structure were reconstructed in 1633. There are so many people that it's hard to walk. The ticket 🎫 design of Kiyomizu Temple is different in different seasons. Now it's cherry blossom 🌸 season and it costs 400 💰/person. Half a day is enough! Ei Nen Zaka and San Nen Zaka dessert shop is very good, matcha 🍵 and sweet potato 🍠 are recommended.
