An Afternoon Stroll in Jiyugaoka: Savoring the Elegance and Tranquility of Tokyo
In Jiyugaoka, Tokyo, it feels like stepping into a serene little world. There's no bustling city noise here, but it possesses a subtle charm. The streets are lined with uniquely styled shops and cafes, and the orderly buildings and street corners exude a European town-like atmosphere, making one unconsciously slow down and enjoy the peaceful tranquility.
I wandered through exquisite boutiques, picking out unique handmade accessories and beautiful ornaments. Each item is full of design sense, bringing endless surprises. The afternoon sunlight filters through the trees, casting shadows in the alleys. Everywhere you look, you see residents and visitors strolling, smiling and nodding at each other, bringing a sense of warmth and friendliness.
Feeling tired, I chose to sit in a small cafe and savor a cup of aromatic hand-brewed coffee. Looking out the window at the street, watching people come and go, I enjoyed the quiet and ease of the moment. The beauty of Jiyugaoka lies not in its hustle and bustle, but in its tranquil lifestyle. It allowed me to experience another side of Tokyo—delicate and gentle. This walk became an unforgettable memory in my heart.

Translucent glass room: fresh in the forest
This store is also called, just 5 minutes from the Freedom Hill Station.
, chic bungalows, in a shop full of personality everywhere in the Freedom Hill, there is such a three-story glass room based on soup soup.
The owner of the glass room gave the diners who came to the store a perfect concept for the use of each corner of the glass room: if you are a leisurely person, you can enjoy a delicious soup on the first floor while reading a good book; The two-person table and four-person table on the second floor can meet the needs of housewives with children to visit the store; the open-air balcony on the third floor is for three friends to enjoy dinner or to become a party place. Let the life leave a little white, let the pace of life slow down, it is the glass house owner's most eager anticipation of this store.
At first it was really attracted by the value of the glass room. Although it was not very hungry, I went in and ordered a cup of ginger soda, and the result! The ginger soda in their home may be the most concentrated ginger soda I have ever tasted. No one, spicy, full of ginger. I dont really like to drink ginger soda. I really feel amazing. Their home is the soup, which is also a store of the famous soup stock tokyo in Japan. The concept is green plant healthy living and dining.
They are really special, the warm sunshine can shine into the whole glass room, and the green plants are also very moody~ Dont miss it when you go to the Freedom Hill.

RISTRETTO & CROISSANT LABORATORIO

A restaurant where you can enjoy freshly baked croissants in Jiyugaoka お
Having a little early lunch with a friend on the patio 🍽️
The fluffy buttery aroma and crunchy texture is fun.
Croissants go from dessert to dietary anyway
This time I ordered a slider croissant sandwich!
Two thirds the size of a regular croissant out of five varieties
A great set with 3 different options of your choice
It's rare to be able to order a latte made with flavorful coffee like the barrel-aged coffee that you can enjoy at a famous four-story roastery cafe in Nakameguro. It was described as an "adult latte," but it's a hot cafe latte with a slightly sweet and whiskey flavor, so it's time for a non-alcoholic one! I feel like it's perfect for those times.
It was a shop that would impress even serious coffee lovers!
All the croissants were so good
The interior and patio seating were spacious and cozy 🌿
Now I want to try other types of croissants!

A cozy neighbourhood in Tokyo, Jiyugaoka
#tokyotrip
Located at the southern side of Tokyo, this quincy little town of Jiyugaoka has lots to offer. The modern shopping street, cafes, boutique shops really provides a feeling of being in Europe. There is even place with canals which is like a replica of Venice. This place attracts many young people as there are so many nice cafes and eateries which suits the liking among the youngsters. By just walking around the streets you immediately feels a sense of relaxation and the mood instantly changed. This is also the reason why Jiyugaoka is selected as one of the best place to live in Tokyo, which lives up with its title.

Hefeng Tea
Hefeng Tea House: Ancient Mulberry
really said that, lived in the Freedom Hill for so long, long time to hear the name of the ancient mulberry, but never went.
This ancient folk coffee, established as a tea room in 1954, is located in the bustling Freedom Hill. The name of the ancient mulberry is nominated by Matsuoka Ryo, a novelist of Natsume Soseki. Very cultural, and at the time this tea house was also a gathering place for literati and people. It was very popular.
retains pure Japanese style and Japanese style courtyard, and has become the most popular ancient style tea house in downtown Japan. The store also retains a variety of antiques, human figures and Natsume Soseki landscape paintings collected by the owner at the time. In the Freedom Hill, it is not easy to see such a style of wind and the original building is still so intact.
I know that the tea cricket will be queued for a long time in the afternoon. I specially rushed into the first batch of shops, very quiet, almost no one, and went into the samovar. The time seems to be solidified. Just want to quietly enjoy the tranquility in the downtown area and precipitate your mind. In this way, a person has enjoyed the tea for a long time before they have come in. I like this feeling very much~ There is a illusion of returning to Kyoto~

In a hurry
In a hurry of modern Tokyo, there is indeed such a comfortable landscape. In the Freedom Hill, people slow down the pace, enjoy the sunshine in the winter, and explore the beauty of life in the design store.
is a special neighborhood that locals love to visit. It is also known as the dessert forest. It is recommended here for Flipper's Souffle, soft and sweet, full of milk, and exquisite workmanship. Everything is done now, definitely worth waiting for! There are also fewer people lined up here than Omotesando. Unfortunately, the ancient mulberry of the healing department was temporarily closed, and did not eat this century-old tea room, a little regret. The view of "Little Venice, Tokyo" is a fascinating experience.
