You can't get there by bus but you can pick one to the nearby village, from there you will have to call a DiDi to take you to the closest access that would be at the foot of some mountain, this I not a restored section so there are not many signs and to know where you are going you will either truat your gut or bring a compass, I would advice the 😂. then again there are no facilities so bring your own food and water 😁. jiankou great wall is an amazing adventure, highly advised if you are the adventurous type.#gooutside

Scrambling skills are needed for some parts, and definitely should avoid during rainy and thundering time. There are many sections of this wall, we did the section from Jiankou to General's Post. an incredible untouched piece of the wall beautiful scenery.
