Recommended accommodation in Tokyo, "Hotel Sardonyx Ueno". We have stayed there twice. Very convenient, easy to connect to the Shinkansen, easy to go back and forth to the airport. Highly recommended 😁✨🚃 Very convenient location 🚃- Near the large Ueno station, easy to connect to many train lines, both the Shinkansen or the Keisei line to and from the airport.- Near JR Okachimachi Station, easy to travel in Tokyo.- If coming from Ueno Station, you can drag your luggage on the side of the road, not many people. But if you don't have a bag, you can go straight to the market.- Located in the Ameyoko market area, lots of restaurants, convenient shopping.- There is a Family Mart nearby, very convenient.- Next to the Doutor coffee shop.- There are many doll claw shops. We like to claw in the evening after arriving at the accommodation. 🤣 🛏️ Room 🛏️- Very clean, very new.- Can put a lot of knickknacks. - Can open a big suitcase (One-sided opening is more convenient)- There are many clothes hangers- There is a mini refrigerator- The bed is not small, comfortable for two people- Japanese standard bathroom, with a bathtub, clean- There is a long mirror- We have slept in two types: standard (with a small bar table, can put a lot of things) and superior (with a small sofa, comfortable to sit on). The room size and bed are not different✳️ Other facilities✳️- The price here includes breakfast. Breakfast is at the hotel cafe downstairs, very good. If you are not convenient to eat or are in a hurry, you can order takeaway. Bread + coffee / orange juice, worth it- There is a washing machine for people who travel long distances, very good🧬 How to walk to the hotel🧬- You can see it in the picture. Walk from Ueno Station. It's not very close, but it's not far. Good hotel, convenient to travel in Ueno area 📍 Hotel Sardonyx Ueno, Ueno, Tokyo, Japan ✨ This time visiting Tokyo, we chose to stay in Ueno area because it is convenient to travel, near shopping areas and many restaurants. So we tried staying at Hotel Sardonyx Ueno, which is quite famous among Thais, both in terms of clean rooms and good service. ✨ We stayed in a standard room, 12 square meters, which is quite a standard size for hotels in Tokyo. The bathroom is small but has a bathtub. ✨ The first floor is the lobby and there is a restaurant next door. The staff are quite lovely and provide good service. You can leave your bags. If it is not yet time to check in or check out, you can still leave your bags. ✨ There are coin-operated washing machines on the third and eighth floors. On the fifth floor, there is a water dispenser and an ice maker. ✨ The housekeeper will come to clean the room every day, including changing towels and pajamas. ✨ The hotel is near many train lines. #2023travelwish Great location. Very convenient and easy transfer to/from the Narita airport. We stayed here for one night. The room was small, but fully equipped one needs. My first trip to Japan with my boyfriend. This trip didn't focus on anything much. We went to relax, eat, travel, and shop. When we went in April, the weather was nice, around 15-18 degrees. It was easy to wear clothes. 🌸Day 1 Cherry blossoms were in full bloom, beautiful on every route we went. 🗻Day 2 We went to see Uncle Fuji. The sky was nice, we got to see it clearly. It was so beautiful. We chose to take the highway bus. We booked it in advance. When we got there, we just had the driver scan our tickets and took a long 2-hour ride to Fuji. 🍜Day 3 We walked around shopping/eating at the Shibuya 5-way intersection. There were so many people. It rained a little in the evening. 💦 🍣Day 4 We went shopping near our accommodation in Ueno, nearby because our legs couldn't take it anymore. Donki sucked our money a lot. Many things are cheaper than in Thailand. 👩🏻❤️👨🏻Day 5 We're getting ready to go back to Thailand. We boarded the plane at 9pm, so we had time to walk around Ameyako Market. There were a lot of food and souvenirs. 🌟 In conclusion, everything went well. The plan wasn't fixed. If we could, we would just keep going. Ueno Jewel Hotel is only a 4-minute walk from Naka-Okachimachi Subway Station, and just a 2-minute walk to Ameyoko, making it a hotel with a great location 🫶🫶 The staff at the hotel lobby are very friendly, and the check-in process was smooth 👍 This time, I stayed in a Superior Double Room. The room has a soft color tone, good lighting, is clean, and spacious 👍 The bed is of moderate size and firmness, with a small open wardrobe next to it 😍 The bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, equipped with a bathtub, and has all the necessary daily amenities 👍 It is a very cost-effective accommodation experience! The hotel started decorating by placing pumpkins on the counters and hanging them in the lobby. 🌟 If you come to Japan and stay here, don't forget to take some pictures. It's so cute!
