Horan-in Temple is a monastery that originated from a grass hut where the ancestor of the Pure Land Patriarch, Faran, and his disciples, An Raku and Zuren, practiced together. After being instructed by two disciples, Emperor Toba's love for the concubine Song Woo and Suzu Woo's ordination incident caused the religious bombardment "Chengyuan Law Difficulty". The current abbot believes that monasteries are not only places for missionary activities and worship of ancestors, but also places for various functions. From this point of view, the present Court of Justice has become a base for regional activities and a space for cultivating artists. And in autumn, the thatched temple gate and the maple leaves in the moss-covered courtyard complement each other, forming one of the few famous spots for viewing autumn leaves. The camellias here are also very famous.
