5-Day 4-Night Tokyo Trip
Day 1: Boarded the flight at 9:00 AM and arrived at Narita Airport in the afternoon. Took the Skyliner to Ueno Station, then transferred to another train to reach Ningyocho. After an 8-10 minute walk, arrived at the hotel (Minn). Later, headed to Ginza Station for some sightseeing and met a friend at a nearby izakaya for dinner. Returned to the hotel after dinner, marking the end of the first day.
Day 2: Had breakfast at a local café at 11:00 AM, then took the Toei Shinjuku Line for station-hopping. Visited Meiji Shrine for a prayer, explored Harajuku and Takeshita Street in Shinjuku, and stopped by Shin-Okubo Korean Town. Ended the day with dinner at an izakaya near Kabukicho.
Day 3: Woke up at 6:00 AM and had a light breakfast at the hotel. Took a bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal to Fuji-Q Highland at Lake Kawaguchi and spent the entire day at the amusement park. On the way back, stopped by Shibuya to see the bustling scramble crossing and visited several shopping malls. Enjoyed a delicious dinner at one of the mall restaurants.
Day 4: Left the hotel at noon and took the Asakusa Line to Asakusa Station. Explored the streets around Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple, and visited a nearby area reminiscent of Hong Kong's Shanghai Street to browse kitchenware. Found an excellent Japanese restaurant with incredibly fresh and affordable medium-fat tuna. In the evening, met a friend near Nihonbashi for an all-you-can-drink dinner, which was delightful. Before dinner, shopped at various malls in Nihonbashi.
Day 5: Checked out of the hotel at 10:00 AM and brought luggage to Tokyo Station. Stored it in the nearest NEX locker, located two levels down from the JR South Exit. Note: The lockers near Ichiban-gai are often crowded, so finding a spot might be difficult. Since the flight was at 1:33 PM, spent some time exploring and had lunch nearby. Most restaurants opened between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and there were queues outside every place, likely due to it being Sunday. Took the NEX to the airport at 1:33 PM. After checking in, discovered that the airport restaurants were excellent. Had chicken broth ramen, a beef cutlet set, and crab tempura for lunch, which were outstanding and perfectly concluded the trip.

Harajuku for the Arty Soul: A Self-Guided Literary & Indie Shop Tour! 🚶♀️✨
#summervacay
If you're into pop culture pilgrimages and discovering artistic gems, this Harajuku route is tailor-made for you. Forget the main tourist traps and dive into a more nuanced experience.
Step 1: Nostalgia at Yoyogi Park's "Tokyo Love Story" Spot 💔
Start your journey at Yoyogi Park, specifically by locating the "Fiesta de Espana" area on your map. This is your first "hallowed ground" – the very square where Kanchi and Rika said their poignant farewells in Tokyo Love Story. Even if you've been to Harajuku before, this spot is a must for a touch of nostalgic reflection.
Step 2: Gaming Vibes at Takeshita Street 🎮
Takeshita Street itself is lined with all sorts of small shops and can be quite crowded. For this route, I recommend simply walking straight through its 300-meter length.
Step 3: Dive into Pop Culture at Kiddyland 🧸
Once you exit Takeshita Street, turn right onto Omotesando and head straight to Kiddyland. This multi-story toy and character shop is a paradise for "eating goods" (buying merchandise) and picking up unique figures and collectibles.
Step 4: Harajuku's Hidden Artistic Gems in Omotesando Hills Alleys 🎨☕
Now for the true essence of Harajuku's artistic side: venture into the quieter alleys around Omotesando Hills. This is where the magic really happens. As dusk settles, these lanes become wonderfully peaceful, with very few tourists. The various artistic boutiques and cozy cafes, illuminated by the evening lights, exude an incredible sense of style and sophistication. If you love capturing that "blue hour" mood in your photos, this area is an absolute dream.
Optional Extension: Shibuya's Iconic Landmarks (If You Dare!) 🚦🐶
If you're feeling adventurous and not deterred by crowds, you can continue your journey to the famous Shibuya Crossing, the Hachiko statue, and Shibuya Sky. Personally, I prefer to avoid the large crowds, so I usually skip this part.

A colorful and cute miscellaneous goods store that is also very popular in Korea opened in Harajuku last winter 😍🌈💓
The spacious 3-story store has a retro pop space where you can take photos everywhere, which will get you excited 🎶
There are also many photo spots where you can take cute photos 🥳🧡🧡
The concept is a house, and there are areas such as a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and garden 🫶
At the photo spot, there was a strange bedroom with a slanted floor and a room with a bed attached to the wall, so we were able to take strange and interesting photos 🥰
The lineup of goods was as rich as the real store, and it was fun just to look at them ✨
What did you think? ☺️Please come and visit us🌿

Narai Juku
#summervacay
Narai‑juku – a beautifully preserved post‑town on the historic Nakasendō in Nagano Prefecture. Once the 34th station on the Nakasendō and 2nd on the Kisoji, this town flourished as "Narai of 1,000 buildings" due to its position before the Torii Pass .
Step back in time: strolling its quiet cobbled main street feels like walking into historic Japan. Stay in a classic ryokan or minshuku: many are former merchant homes offering tatami rooms, local food, and tranquil garden or spring‑fed baths .

A must-visit place in Harajuku✨ HARAKADO, the headquarters of the fashion universe
When you go to Harajuku, Tokyo, you must check in at this glass cube building built by Kengo Kengo's team - HARAKADO! It is located at the golden intersection of Omotesando and Meiji-dori. The futuristic appearance is very eye-catching and is a veritable Japanese fashion vane📍
It is a 3-minute walk from Exit 5 of the "Meiji Jingumae Station" subway station. The business hours are 11:00-21:00 (restaurant until 23:00), which is very suitable for trend players to have a layered rampage!
The B1 floor is the century-old "Kosugi Yu Harajuku" sento. You can enjoy the urban hot springs for 500 yen per person. The bedrock bath and carbonated spring are super refreshing🛀 1F is the trendy brand bombing area. The limited aromatherapy of Japan's largest Jo Malone concept store must be bought. Tokyo Harajuku travel course recommendation

1. Harajuku Marion Crepe
A crepe you must try when traveling to Japan!!
There are so many crepe shops on the streets of Harajuku
The Marion Crepe building stands out and there are so many different types that it was nice.
2. Lush
The prices of Lush in Japan are about 30% cheaper than in Korea.
There is a two-story Lush in Harajuku that has so many different types
and there are staff members who speak Korean well, so I recommend it!
3. Onitsuka Tiger
It is a Japanese shoe brand that is popular worldwide.
It is over 50,000 won cheaper than in Korea, so definitely stop by.
The Shibuya store doesn't have much stock, so I recommend the Harajuku store.
4. Gacha shop
There is a gacha shop on the second floor! There were so many different types.
You can't not get a gacha when traveling to Japan, right? ㅎㅎ
5. Uniqlo
Make your own hot T-shirt at Uniqlo in Japan! You can also visit Harajuku, so be sure to stop by.
6. Meiji Shrine
When traveling in Japan, visiting a shrine is a must!
It's right outside Harajuku Station, so stop by.
It's a nice walk that takes about 30 minutes round trip while enjoying nature.
