Visited Gurney Plaza Penang Malaysia and decided to have dinner at GO Noodle House. The decorations of this restaurant is interesting as they have some of those menu crafted on wooden plates and hanging on the display wall and with the red lanterns hanging across the restaurant. It serve Chinese style noodles with both dry or soup based. Ordered their weekday set on grouper slice dry noodles and it is very good as the noodles are very “Q”.

The restaurant is located in the food court at Gurney Plaza. You can grab a Grab ride, and the prices are very reasonable. The chicken rice here is juicy and the sauce is incredibly delicious. They also serve stir-fried bean sprouts as a side dish. We ordered two sets: Set A and Set B. The two of us were so full! If you're visiting Penang, don't forget to stop by!

Stopped by Starbucks Reserve at Gurney Plaza after a round of afternoon shopping to grab my much-needed coffee fix. The café itself has a cozy setup and a premium feel, typical of the Reserve line. It’s a nice spot to take a breather, especially if you’ve been walking around the mall for hours. Unfortunately, the service was really slow when I visited. There wasn’t a huge crowd, but somehow the baristas seemed overwhelmed or understaffed. Took quite a while before my drink was ready, which dulled the experience a bit. Still, the coffee quality was solid as expected. But if you’re in a rush or hoping for quick service, this may not be the best choice during peak hours. They offer and serve a huge array of bakeries and pastries selection, from buns to cakes. They also serve coffee and main dishes like mushroom soup in bread! The mushroom soup was thick and creamy, flavourful. Love the pairing of the fluffy bread with mushroom soup. Great and generous portion, very fulfilling meal indeed! Would recommend to everyone craving for some pastries!
