The door to the exhibition room is a reused door from the old museum, which used the Fujita family's storehouse, which was over 100 years old. In addition, beams, flooring, and fittings were used as much as possible to retain the original appearance, but since a museum is a device for displaying art, architecture should not be obtrusive. When you order matcha, you can choose your handmade utensils, which is a fantastic experience. The way the food is presented also exudes a wabi-sabi atmosphere, creating a stark contrast with the concrete jungle outside. This place is like a hidden aesthetic corner in the bustling city. The exchange rate of the Japanese yen has hit a new low, making travel to Japan extremely popular this year! During this trip to Japan, Osaka and Kyoto were packed with people. Osaka was filled with Koreans, while Kyoto seemed to be dominated by Westerners! Many people think of Osaka as just a shopping city (somewhat like Hong Kong used to be), but this city also has a very artistic side! The Fujita Art Museum, located in Shinbashi, was a place I had researched beforehand. It's just a few stops away from Umeda, and the atmosphere is completely different from the shopping districts! The surrounding streets are quiet and clean, and there's a quaint little tea space inside the museum where you can enjoy authentic matcha. The grilled dango skewers are freshly made and delicious! As for the museum's collection, I was fortunate to encounter a national treasure-level piece, the Yohen Tenmoku bowl, which truly feels like a galaxy in a bowl! If you have the chance, you must see it for yourself; it's a testament to the craftsmanship and taste of ancient China! The Fujita Art Museum is not large, but it has a super quiet little garden. #thingstodo We came at early afternoon on Sunday and the atmostphere was amazing. Tranquil and calmness at its best. Such a hidden gem in Osaka. This is the combination that you can both enjoy the transition colors of mimoji inside and outside. Taking a walk to the river was also very relaxing. They have open tea bar so you can actually see how the matcha/tea set in the making. Around 3:30 pm the place getting more people line up, but the vibe remains as it is. I really enjoy the experience 🍁🍂

They made the matcha for us on the spot, explained the utensils, and we enjoyed it on a tatami mat while looking at a Japanese-style garden.
