Best luxury hotel in busiest town! Couldn’t imagine that it is actually a hotel with 5 stars hospitality despite the nearby places are hectic. Staffs are friendly. Hotel room was great. Raw, Else is a restaurant connected to this lovely 5 star boutique hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City! The food was delightful, we tried the truffle gnocchi, prawn bisque and the duck leg (all of their best sellers and signatures). With that i’d say that their food was rather delectable! Wished we tried some desserts but we were filled to the brim by the portions. The mocktails and sodas were also very refreshing and with the waiter’s recommendations everything paired so well with eachother. The ambiance was very pleasing as well i felt so at peace as the setting was dark and romantic. The hotel on it’s on is also very comfortable, every nook and cranny was well decorated. The whole structure of it was very well orchestrated. I will be having a staycation there soon enough and will try raw’s famous muesli for breakfast. Hotel room was so cozy and service brilliant - they always looked after you. Restaurant food was very delicious - wine was bit pricey, so had beer instead. Otherwise Staff were warm and friendly! They truly represent what it meant by hospitality. The receptionist was excellent, and the room was quite spacious. They truly did a great job with every detail in the room. We celebrated a birthday, and they assisted us with small decorations for the event. We also discovered all the facilities, and we were amazed by the architecture. Complementary breakfast was very novel compared to the standard buffet . The food was also creatively decorated. Overall, kudos to the team. We will definitely stay here again. I would visit again. #springitinerary During my five-day stay in Kuala Lumpur, I picked four hotels that caught my interest, each with a distinct style. If none turn out disappointing, I’ll share my thoughts on each one in the coming days. Last night, I stayed at Else Kuala Lumpur, which was the hotel I was most excited about among the four. It’s a converted 1930s Art Deco building, blending a rugged yet refined style while preserving the tropical Southeast Asian vibe. The hotel’s central area removed parts of the original floors but kept the load-bearing structures, allowing a lot of natural light to flood in. The lighting design is incredibly thoughtful and professional. Every detail is perfectly symmetrical, creating a super comfortable atmosphere. Beyond the structure, I really loved their choice of materials. Unlike other tropical hotels I’ve visited before, Else uses many low-saturation wall colors and exposed concrete beams. It’s far from the usual overused materials that get boring after a while. Especially notable are the concrete columns scattered throughout the hotel—they feature classic Art Deco stepped designs. This small detail is definitely something I want to incorporate into my own new store design.#WeekendVibes
