There are ordinary ferry and high-speed boat flights between Central (Pier 5) and Cheung Chau Pier. High-speed boats are equipped with air-conditioning equipment throughout the ship.
👑Local attractions👑
1. Cheung Po Tsai Cave🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
Cheung Po Tsai Cave is a pirate cave in the Qing Dynasty and a must-see when visiting Cheung Chau. Although there are no treasures in Cheung Po Tsai Cave now, it is still worth visiting this place of historical value to take a souvenir. The entrance of Cheung Po Tsai Cave is very narrow, only one person can pass through, and it is pitch dark inside. Visitors must go down the iron ladder, be careful every step, and remember to bring a flashlight.
How to get there:
After disembarking from the Cheung Chau Pier, follow the signs to the right and walk for about 30 minutes; or
Take a boat from Cheung Chau Pier to Cheung Po Tsai Cave, it takes about 5 minutes.
2. Five Elements Stonehenge 🪨🗿🗿
Near Cheung Po Tsai Cave, if you walk along the path, you will see five huge rocks near the sea, also known as the "Five Elements Stones". The huge boulder is located on the edge of the cliff. It looks shaky and about to fall into the sea. It also looks like a stone formation in a martial arts novel. It is unique!
3. Cheung Chau Tung Wan🌊🐚
Cheung Chau has two adjacent beaches. Among them, Tung Wan Beach has clear water, fine sand and complete facilities for showering and changing. It is a holiday destination for tourists and a good place for residents to swim. At sunset, walking on the beach and admiring the sunset is very romantic.

🤤Food Recommendation🤤
Cheung Chau MTR station? |Cheung Chau angle cheese🍦
"Cheung Chau Corn Cheese" is a must-visit popular yoghurt shop in Cheung Chau. Recently, it has branched out of Cheung Chau and entered the urban area. Its popularity is evident. In addition to the "Cheung Chau MTR Station" check-in wall, the Cheung Chau main store also has handmade cheeses of different flavors, soda drinks and blue rolled eggs. The presentation is very attractive and fully satisfies everyone who wants to "photograph before eating". There are many types of cheese drinks. They are not too sweet, and the texture is not too thin or too thick. They are smooth in the mouth. I believe the store has carefully prepared the taste.
2. Mango glutinous rice cake natural dessert 🥭
It is said that mango glutinous rice cake originated in Cheung Chau, but it has spread out of Cheung Chau long ago and you can definitely find it in urban dessert shops. But when I come to Cheung Chau and eat a mango glutinous rice cake, it feels more authentic. Many tourists to Cheung Chau will make reservations when they arrive and take a box or two back to the city as souvenirs before leaving. In addition to mango glutinous rice cakes, dessert shops will provide other different Hong Kong-style desserts. Personally, I think the more special one is mango and osmanthus rice rolls, which are fragrant and juicy and relieve the heat.
3. Seafood Food Street🐟🐠🐙
Praya Street, Pak She Street, and Xingxing Street are all famous seafood food streets in Cheung Chau, located in the open air next to the pier. Seafood restaurants have set menu options, and the prices are cheaper than in the city. After touring Cheung Chau, go to the seafood food street to enjoy the sea view and taste the authentic seafood, which is the perfect end to the trip.
