Since Cairns Beach is dangerous, entry into the seawater is prohibited, and there is no sandy beach, so it seems that the lagoon was created because it is a mudflat. Love this lagoon! Went there in the evening, just walked around but didn’t swim. It’s clean, with changing rooms, showers, lifeguards and free. It’s a nice place for family and kids to spend time during the weekends. Just relax, swim and enjoy the sunset.
