#christmasgiveaway Getting There - Air or maybe you could drive? 🤔 Attractions - La Piedra Hotels - many + Ab&b Food & Restaurants - many Shopping - yes amazing little town with great sites and really friendly people. this was about a 2-hour drive from the city of Medellin. I took a tour where we saw the sites went to the town and enjoyed a meal for a full day trip of 8 hours. which was conducted just great! I'm not sure if I can leave the name of the company here and I don't quite remember but I went through TripAdvisor to find the tour and was very pleased. I would like to return and spend more time in the shops and the restaurants. very relaxed place

When you enter this town, you will feel like you are in a fairy tale. Guatape, but every street, every house, and every building is very interesting and colorful, with interesting patterns painted on the exterior walls of the houses. There are also different flower baskets hanging under the canopies. On some streets, small three-dimensional pools and fairy-tale sculptures are made. The whole house and the whole street are like a three-dimensional picture. 🌸☘️ In addition, their local transportation ~ small cars are also colorful. Just walking there, you can feel the energy and vigor. 🌼🚙 In the city center, there is a big and beautiful church with a red and white design. In front of the church is a big park. Both sides are restaurants or small shops. Like other locals, I like to sit outside the restaurant, have a bun and a cup of coffee, and relax. There are many unique coffee shops in the town, some of which are ethnic-themed. I remember going to one of them. The design was mainly wood, and there were rooms inside. You had to take off your shoes before entering the room because there were no chairs outside, so you had to sit on the floor. But the room felt quite comfortable, and you could just lean on the pillow and drink coffee leisurely. Since Petape is known as the Thousand Island Lake in American English, you can imagine that the town is actually surrounded by multiple lakes, and you can enjoy the lake views in the town.
