Beijing Zoo in autumn is a magical place offering its visitors a unique experience to feel autumn vibes and enjoy the picturesque views of its area. Panda cafe at Beijing Zoo is a must for the Zoo visitors. The cafe is located next to panda houses and is really a nice place to take a break during the Zoo visit. The cafe is designed in panda style and offers a good choice of snacks and drinks with panda images 🐼: capuccino, ice-cream, cakes, chocolates etc. The atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxing and the seats are quite comfortable. Explore the animal world at Beijing Zoo in early winter. Beijing Zoo is located on Xizhimen Outer Street in Xicheng District, Beijing. It is one of the largest zoos in China and a world-renowned zoo. The zoo is so big that I only had time to take a quick look around in an hour. Some of the animals I saw for the first time in my life. For example, Malayan tapirs, which live in tropical rainforests with lots of water. They are solitary, nocturnal animals that hide in the jungle to rest during the day. There are also South African gemsboks, which have long horns, are good runners, and are alert. There are also banded mongooses, and more. It was an eye-opening experience. The animal world is endless, and there is no end to exploring it. The most delightful animals were the white pelicans, with their white feathers, long yellow beaks, and slow movements. They are so beautiful. I suddenly realized that I had been ignoring Beijing Zoo, which has beautiful scenery and a rich animal world. It's worth visiting again.

I recently visited the Beijing Zoo and had an overall great experience. One of the best parts was watching the monkeys—they were lively and fun to observe. The African elephant was particularly impressive, with its majestic size and calm demeanor, making it a standout moment of the visit. The rhinos also caught my attention; seeing these massive animals up close was fascinating. However, it was a bit disappointing that we couldn’t see the giraffes and pandas, which are always favorites for many visitors. Even without them, there was still so much to enjoy, and the zoo offered plenty of opportunities to see different animals and learn more about wildlife. 1-6: Matteo Ricci and Foreign Missionary Cemetery, Ming to Qing Dynasty, 6th batch of national key cultural relics protection units, ancient tombs. Matteo Ricci was an Italian missionary who came to China in 1582 (the 10th year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty) to preach and introduce Western astronomy, calendar, geography, mathematics and other scientific knowledge to China. In 1610 (the 38th year of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty), Matteo Ricci died of illness in Beijing, and Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty granted "Tenggong Fence" as his tomb. The tomb of the German missionary Johann Adam Schall von Bell is located to the west of the fence tomb. Later, more than 80 Chinese and foreign missionaries such as the Belgian missionary Ferdinand Verbiest were buried here. The cemetery was destroyed in 1900 (the 26th year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty) and was rebuilt in the same year. In the 1960s, the cemetery was destroyed again. In 1979, the cemeteries of Matteo Ricci, Johann Adam Schall von Bell, and Ferdinand Verbiest were rebuilt. In 1984, a new cemetery was expanded and 60 monuments of surviving missionaries from various countries were erected. In 1993, the stone gate of the Qing Dynasty was moved to the south end of the cemetery, forming the current cemetery pattern. The cemetery is located in the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee at No. 6 Chegongzhuang Street, and it is not allowed to enter at will. However, you can go to the east side of the South Gate on Baiwanzhuang Street, and walk straight in from No. 21, no one cares here. In 1906 (the 32nd year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty), the Ministry of Commerce proposed to divide the Leshan Garden and the nearby Guangshan Temple and Hui'an Temple into agricultural experimental fields, and then expanded several times.
