The Beijing Pinggu Lishugou Youke Mountain House Homestay That Made Me Fall in Love Instantly
🌿A suburban peach blossom land, rustic charm, and healing slow life—this summer I finally stayed at the much-anticipated Youke Mountain House! The entire farmhouse courtyard is surrounded by greenery, with mountains visible through the windows, as if stepping into the idyllic world described by Tao Yuanming, and even the air carries the sweet fragrance of chestnut flowers~

The homestay has 20 guest rooms, each with a mountain surprise! Japanese tatami rooms, Zen-style Chinese rooms, family-themed rooms... No luxurious decorations inside, but with solid wood furniture, illustrations, exquisite hangings, children's dolls... even the wash cups are made of coarse pottery.

🥘 Dining
The farmhouse dishes are amazing! Fathead fish stewed with chicken feet, farmhouse big pork knuckle, dipping vegetables, scallion stir-fried hand-cut lamb, hand-grabbed lamb chops, stir-fried beef, stew with reservoir fish rolls, fried green leaves, big steamed cakes... even the special hawthorn drink is sweet and sour and appetizing 🥤

🛌 Rooms
Though a farmhouse, the details are very thoughtful! Each room is equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom, smart toilet (Dyson hairdryer), and the public area has a calligraphy desk ✒️... The owner says, "When city people come to the mountains, they should stay comfortably and down-to-earth!"
