Batu Caves is a representative attraction in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 📍 and has always been known as one of the most mysterious caves in the world. It is a limestone cave complex and a Hindu pilgrimage site. The limestone cave complex is located halfway up the jungle. During the Thaipusam Festival in late January and early February every year, devout Hindus carry statues of gods and sing religious hymns as they parade into the cave to worship. A war god is enshrined in front of the scenic area. The scenery in the cave is unique. You can see the rainbow steps from a distance. They are very dazzling. #FuriTabi The Batu Caves, which I visited during my trip to Malaysia, was an amazing experience. A huge golden statue of Murugan towered over the entrance, creating an overwhelming sight. The stairs to enter the cave were steep and a bit difficult to climb, but the view from the top was amazing. There were also many wild monkeys, so I was able to feel the nature. There are also many shops in the area, so be careful as you may be ripped off if you are Japanese. It's a spot I would like to visit again when I come to Malaysia.

Located about a 30 min drive from KL central there is a beautiful temple hidden among the caves. You can get all your steps in by climbing the rainbow stairs and also get to see the vibrant wildlife of the caves. Near the main entrance there is also an entrance to a museum which is 5 RM where you can find lots of turtles and fish as well as some parrots and other colourful birds.
