Mount Huashan is the most amazing mountain near Xi’an. I believe you go to visit Xi’an take the high speed train for 20 minutes to Huashan. The mountain is in the clouds. especially in the winter the mountain is covered in snow. You can take the cable ways but the hike it truly challenging. If you are fearless visit the plant bridge. Cable ways or no cable ways it’s at least a 4 hour hike to the peak of the mountain but don’t give up! it is worth it!!
Huashan on the sword, challenge the blind man to turn over, go to the chess pavilion must pass the road, but also the original way back. Some places are almost vertically up and down, and it is hard to find even the footholds. It is still a test of physical strength. When I stood in front of the chess pavilion, I really felt what is the infinite scenery in the dangerous peak!
Our 2nd visit to our favorite mountain #huashan #2020 #xian. it is famous for unforgettable #cablecar view of natural vista of steep and narrow paths, precipitous crags and a high mountain range that's look like a masterpiece chinese painting
#happynewyear #unforgettableexperiences
"From the ancient Huashan Road" "the first mountain in the world of adventures", Huashan is known as the birthplace of Chinese civilization, China, China, are originated here, and there are many historical stories and legends here! I went up from the Xifeng cableway, along the order of the west, south, east, middle and north five peaks, and experienced the heroic and handsome sports of Huashan, listening to the legends left by the ancients here! Feel the cultural heritage of Chinese history!
Right, are you, like me, the first time I heard about Huashan, the "Huashan sword" that every summer vacation will be put on, and every time I dont feel tired, Remember to find it together! In other words, I also brought a dish of chicken to the mountain, simmering chicken in front of the inscription, I feel that I am a senior!
One day in Huashan mountian

A bit about Mount Hua (Huashan), There is one of China's Five Great Mountains, located in Shaanxi Province near the city of Huayin. Known for its steep, dramatic cliffs and stunning views, Huashan is famous for both its natural beauty and cultural significance.
There have five main peaks, each with its own distinct character, the tallest being South Peak, which rises to 2,154 meters (7,067 feet). The most famous trail is the plank walk, often referred to as one of the world’s most dangerous hiking trails😱 due to its narrow pathways and sheer drops but unluckily, it was too cloudy that day. I couldn't do it.
Normally for spend the time there, you should have 5-6 hours for cover 5 peaks. But you can choose the way to go. For me South and east peak are very stunning view.
Transport : High speed train🚄 to Huashan north railway staion, then take a bus to main ticket officer.
There will have bus🚍 and cable car🚡 to the top. Seperate to North peak and West peak.
*For everyone who don't want to walk much. I suggest to start at West peak. Also the cable car very incradible human made through high mountain.
Recommend place : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐5/5
Difficult level walking : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5
From Xian to Huashan north railway station, take bus or taxi to climbing points, if only is good or buy tickets from there student it is 80¥ climbing is difficult make sure you have enough water , on top you will reach north peak if you are to tired like me you can come back from north peak cable car or go to west peak, over all its good but next time i am not climbing it requires to much energy 📍Address: huanshan mountain
Starting point of Huashan Mountain climbing , climbing is difficult won’t advise for children but i also seen 5-8 years kids climbing its all depends upon person to person.make sure you have enough water for you , water gets expensive up there , they charge me 12¥ for water , on top view is good better to have lunch up there, and take some rest you can then move to east and west peak and go back from west peak
Huashan Adventures
Did the West Peak Cable Car up and North Peak Cable Car down. It’s a moderate option, suitable for those who want some adventure but not spending the whole day hiking up huashan. There are some steep rocks to climb which adds to the challenge. And most importantly, the plank walk! The plank walk was very worth doing but has to be booked in advance. There are hostel-like accommodations at East Peak for those interested in watching the sunrise. However, I personally found the sunset amazing enough!
Mount Hua Swordsmanship? No, it's a complete guide to Mount Hua. You can't miss this "dangerous" trip.
Today, we're not talking about the grudges of the rivers and lakes, but the stunning scenery of Mount Hua and the exciting feeling of a racing heart! 💖 If you also love challenges, nature, and photography, then this Mount Hua travel guide, promise me, you must collect it and read it slowly! 🌟
🏞️ [The beauty of Mount Hua will amaze you]
Imagine standing on the top of the West Peak, with the sea of clouds rolling and the mountains bowing their heads. At that moment, it seems that the whole world is quiet. The East Peak at sunrise is even more beautiful, with golden sunlight sprinkling over the mountains, and every frame is a beautiful wallpaper! 🌅
👣 [Travel guide to help you conquer Mount Hua easily]
1. Get up early: Want to avoid the peak of the crowd and see the most beautiful sunrise? Then you have to get up early! It is recommended to stay at the foot of the mountain the night before and set off early the next day.
2. Route selection: Mount Hua has multiple climbing routes. If this is your first time, it is recommended to choose the classic route from west to north, which allows you to see the beautiful scenery without getting too tired.
3. Equipment preparation: Comfortable climbing shoes, sunscreen, hat, enough water and dry food, and a camera (mobile phone is also fine, but don't forget the power bank)! Remember, safety first, do what you can.
4. Photo check-in: The popular attractions such as Changkong Plank Road and Sparrowhawk Flip are thrilling, but definitely worth a try. Remember to find a good angle and take your "Mount Hua Swordsmanship" blockbuster! 📸
🚫 [Lightning protection guide to save you from detours]
- Don't wear new shoes: New shoes can rub your feet and affect your travel experience.
- Don't bring too much luggage: Travel light so you can go further.
- Don't buy water on the top of the mountain: The price doubles, it's more cost-effective to prepare in advance.
- Pay attention to safety: Especially when trying high-altitude projects, be sure to follow the instructions of the staff and do not act without permission.

Highlights: Sunrise
To see the sunrise, you need to climb the mountain in advance and stay overnight at the top. Be sure to keep warm.

Climb🧗♂️ according to your ability, climbing two peaks with children is enough. Those with good physical strength can continue. If climbing Mount Hua at night, pay extra attention to safety.
Amazing views
Went to the top of Huashan with a friend. Great views even though the weather was not the best. It was also a bit surprising the amount of people there for such a day.
We took the west cable car, and rounded the mountain going go all the peaks, ending in north peak to take the cable car down. The queues were a bit annoying because of some people trying to push others to skip the queue, but overall, a recommended experience.
Huashan Mountain
I decided to climb Huashan mountain to see the sunrise as I heard it was popular. I left at about 9pm as it’s supposed to take 6 hours. I walked a bit too fast and ended up arriving at around 1am so took a nap at the top until sunrise. Along the way, there are many food shops and even places to rent tents. During my journey, I was the only foreigner there as the rest were chinese.
The most beautiful mountain road for self-driving and cycling around Xi'an to enjoy the scenery of the Qinling Mountains, adjacent to the Western Peak, Mount Hua
Yesterday, my family set out from Xi'an and arrived at Luofu Town in Huayin to take the National Highway 242 through the Huajin Highway. This must be the most beautiful mountain road I have seen in the Qinling Mountains; it is not an ordinary road. I used to drive to the Lantian-Lanxiao Highway towards Shangluo frequently, and I was always shocked and attracted by the magnificent scenery of the big mountains and rocks there. Coming to the Huajin Highway, I found that the magnificent scenery here far surpasses that of Lantian, and I was amazed by the beautiful scenery along the way to the point of being at a loss for words.
The Huajin Highway is about 12 kilometers away from the Huashan Scenic Area, and we started to enter the mountain from the road leading to the Huashan West Peak cableway. Because it is adjacent to the Western Peak, Mount Hua, the shape and posture of the mountains on both sides of this mountain road are almost similar to those of Mount Hua. The large rocky mountains are as solid as boulders. Huge intact granite rock bodies, which have been upwelled from the deep crustal granitic magma and condensed, stand tall and are very shocking, making it hard to take it all in.
The Huajin Highway is about 31 kilometers long, and its endpoint is at the junction of Weinan and Shangluo City. The road is rugged with many bends, and since it is built deep in the mountains, it is a real test of driving skills. As there are several ore factories along the route, and many freight trucks pass by, it is not recommended for tourists without rich driving experience to go there.
After completing the Huajin Highway and taking in the beauty of the Qinling Mountains, we went to play in Luonan County. The day's itinerary was packed and very fulfilling.
Huashan mountain half day trip
I came from Xi’an bei to Huashanbei station by high speed train for half hour each round.
Then, our groups arrived at noon and suddenly started hiking Huashan.
Route: West up by cable ropeway—> west peak —> east peak —> north peak —> North station by cable ropeway
Time (total) 5 hr ( visited there in Qingming day) walking for 4 km on the mountain
Price :cable ropeway round trip 150,bus to ropeway station 20x2= 40, entrance ticket 160,…
It’s worth for hiking with sunny-windy not that hot, though the town looked like mostly cloudy.
Suggest that buy some food and drink before hiking
If you need challenging route, just reverting above route💪

Climb Huashan
#weekendgetaways#Huashan
Getting There - booked high speed train to Xi’an via Trip.com and from then join a local tour to Huashan.
Attractions - Huashan has 5 major peaks. We picked the west route in order to cover 4 peaks in 1 day (5hrs). Need to take a 20-min cable car up the Western Peak top. From there we hike along the stone steps, some of which are very steep. Difficulty is intermediate to high. There are metal chains alongside to ensure safety.
The weather was chilly in Jan, some parts were still covered with snow/ice. The sky was blue and clear, the rocks were huge and steep and the pine trees were stout and steady. All these are very nice for phone photography and cameras.
Hotels - There is basic lodging at mountain top for those who are interested to see sunrise.
Food & Restaurants - In order to protect and preserve the natural environment, only limited small food stores available (cup noodles, drinks).
Shopping - At the descend, there are souvenirs shops and restaurants for last minute spending.
Overall, this is a 5-star value trip, worth the efforts to catch the spectacular views.
WORLDS DEADLIEST HIKE? | Huashan
From Xian you can take a speed train to Huayin. At the train station you can rent a tent and buy hiking gear which will prepare you for the hike (if you are hiking and not taking the cable car)
There is a cable way entrance which is 40rmb for the bus + 140rmb for the cable car OR you can take the hiking entrance for 160RMB. This hike will take about 4 -5 hours and it is medium difficulty.
The best time to hike (if you want to see the sunrise) is at 9pm. You will walk through the night and arrive at the East peak in time for the sunrise. There are plenty of food stops and bathrooms and there are hotels you can stay in though these have no showers.
Be sure to bring gloves, a hat, sunscreen and plenty of water!
Hua mountain, Xian
Cost per person: (August 2022)
entrance ticket 160 yuan
cable car (one way) 140 yuan
bus 40 yuan
fast train from Xi’an to Hua mountain 54.5 yuan
Transportation: Take a fast train from Xi’an North to Hua mountain north 西安北-华山北
Being one of the five important mountains in China, Hua mountain is definitely worth to visit. There are two ways to go to the top of the mountain: cable car and climbing the stairs. Like any other mountains in China, Hua mountain also has countless stairs. First you walk 4 km path way then 8 km stairs, in total 6800 stairs.
We started climbing 7:30 pm and we’re at the top 2:30 am. We had a rest in between, I guess one hour. So, it took us 7 hours (break time included) to climb the mountain.
Be prepared with a warm coat as it is cold at the top of the mountain. There is a chance to rent a coat though. No need to take lots of water with you. There are people who sell water on the mountain (10 yuan for 3 bottles and 10 yuan for 1 bottle at the very top).
Sunrise is beautiful but is not impressive as chances you can see the sunrise are very limited. The top (Eastern peak) of the mountain is very small and full of people. We were able to watch the sunrise through other peoples phone screen only.
There were people who stayed in tents. From my understanding, it’s easier to find a place for a tent on the way to the top as the place on the mountain top is really limited.
On our way back we took a cable car as we were tired. The view from the top is very beautiful.

Mount Huashan - China 🇨🇳
Located in ShanXi Province, about 120 kms from XiAn City, Mount Hua is one of the Great Five Mountains of China, chosen by their geographic locations to represent 5 Elements, 5 Cosmic Deites, and 5 Cardinal Directions ( East, South, West, North, Plus Center). As Imperial Pilgrimage sites throughout Chinese History, these five Mountains are very popular tourist attractions. Representing West, Metal and White Deity, Mount Hua has the highest mountain peak among them all , characterized by its steep Cliffs and rugged mountain slopes. If you love Mountain adventures and sceneries, China should be on your priority list indeed. It is recommended that you should try your best to avoid Public Holidays in order to avoid crowds ---- Which is a tip applied to all tourist attractions in China. Two photos from my visiting#nationalpark #hiking #climbing #asia #china
The Soldier’s Path
I was climbing alone for more than an hour, the chains protecting the path were creeping up the mountain like a metal spine, the landscape which was supposed to be stunning was stubbornly hiding behind a sea of mist.
I have decided to climb Huashan in February, following the Soldier’s Path, and I was delighted to see that I was the only one on the path, a rare sight on Huashan, a mountain which can attract big crowds.
I stoped to drink some water, that’s when the mists lifted like a theater curtain, revealing a majestic landscape of white vertical cliffs rising towards the sky like massive statues of ancient kings.
Huashan is a must see destination if you go to Xi’an. There are buses and trains taking tourists very close to the mountain; hotels and other forms of accommodation on most of the main peaks and ridges; cableways, for those who dare not ascend on the head spinning footpaths, sometimes carved directly in the vertical cliffs. #mountainview
Climbing one of the tallest peaks in China 🌄
Even though it wasn’t the best idea to go on such a crazy hiking trip in the middle of winter. it was worth every single moment.
This gorgeous mountain is called the mount hua! or more popularly known, the Huashan. I took this trip in the middle of January which I don’t recommend if you aren’t an experienced hiker. It was a really tough hike but there were so many good moments and the further you went, the better the views.
During the hike, there were times where it rained, and times when it snowed which really gave an interesting experience.
Getting there, we had to take a taxi to the foot of the mountain from the train station which wasn’t too far, then a bus to the cable cars 🚠 . afterwards the hike began. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice spring or autumn trip!

华山 Hua Shan one of the most famous mountains in China. The climbing will take no less than eight hours! The visiting all areas and peaks at the top of mountain also requires about five or six hours. And, please, be careful to choose the day you would like to visit the mountain! If it is cloudy, everything will be like drawn in the fog. Night climbing is safety thanks to the light installations along the climbing and walking paths. At night and at morning it could be cold even during summer time.
If you gonna take a cable way, I advice to take west rope and then to go to South peak, further to move to the East and, finally, to the North where you can go down by the second cableway. Planning this route you will need mostly to go down instead of climbing, that allows to save energy and knees.
