The Misaki Park
#japantrip This park is very big and so close to the ocean! There are cats that just live at the park also. Very nice park and it really felt nice to hear the water and have views of the sunset. This is a tourist spot in Onahama, Iwaki City. There are many spots such as Iwaki Marine Tower, Shiomidai, park, guardhouse lighthouse, and Mexico. A good lookout from the tower. Decent park with spectacular Ocean views. Good spot to rest when you are passing by town.
Aquamarine Fukushima
#japantrip This is a very good aquarium with lots of information and exhibits. It is quite a large aquarium with both a huge outdoor space and indoor area. The outdoor area is a zoo where you can visit some marine-related animals. The indoor one is an aquarium with quite lots of exhibition telling the fishery history in Japan. There are quite a variety of marine animals, which are all in good shape. The organisation of the paths is sensible and it was a very pleasant time to visit. The observation deck is also a must-go. There is a large parking area for this aquarium.
Sakura Splendor in Onahama, Fukushima
#cherryblossom2024
Along the roadside of Onahama, Fukushima, sakuras bloom in hues of pink, white, and orange-y,
Petals delicate as whispers, dancing so free.
Underneath the azure sky, they paint a scene of pure delight,
A breathtaking display, a symphony of color, a mesmerizing sight.
As the sun kisses their blossoms, they radiate with ethereal glow,
In the soft light of dawn, their beauty seems to overflow.
Each petal tells a story, of resilience and grace,
A testament to hope, in this tranquil, sacred space.
Strolling amidst the sakuras, one feels a sense of peace,
Their fleeting beauty, a reminder that all struggles cease.
In Onahama, Fukushima, nature's wonders never fade,
A testament to resilience, amidst the trials life has laid.
