When I was traveling to Iwaki Yumoto Onsen♨️, I was looking for a place to have dinner and found "Kaikou" where I could eat seafood, so I went there~🐟 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🐟 Menu I ordered~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🥢Specially selected grilled seafood set meal 3,300 yen (This set meal is the most popular Kaikou sashimi set meal with grilled fish) ~~~~~ 🥢Sashimi~~~~~ The amount per serving is abnormal, in a good way😂 There are 11 types (20 slices + squid somen), and even though I'm a big eater, I'm quite full and I might not be able to finish it all? I was worried...!!! Not only was it delicious, but it had no fishy smell at all and was very delicious🤤It was a restaurant that I would definitely recommend to sashimi lovers!!! The sashimi we had this time was - Bonito - Shellfish - Shrimp (2 types) - Octopus - Marinated mackerel - Surf clams - Scallops - Salmon - Long tuna - Squid It seems that the type of grilled fish in the set meal also changes depending on the day, but on this day we could choose between saury or bonito!!! We went to eat as a group of two, so we each ordered one🥢 The saury was of course delicious, but the salt-grilled bonito was fluffy and just the right amount of salty, and it was more delicious than I expected, which surprised me~!!! It's really easy to find, only a 3-minute walk from Iwaki Station. The station is close and there are many convenience stores and restaurants in the area. It's in the center of town, but it was very quiet. There is a cafe on the first floor that sells drinks and bread. Other than that, the room wasn't much different from a normal guesthouse. #0yentravelJanuary2025 I went to Mauna Village, the official glamping facility of Hawaiians, located about 15 minutes by car from Hawaiians, a resort facility in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. The atmosphere was very nice, and although you cannot bring food or drinks into the facility, there was plenty of food, so there was no need to worry. When you arrive at the facility, you will receive a round-trip taxi ticket between Hawaiians and Mauna Village, so you can use that and the shuttle bus to travel between Hawaiians and Mauna Village.

It is about 2km from the nearby "Aquamarine Fukushima" and about 5 minutes by car. In 1201, a branch of the Suwa Taisha Shrine in Nagano Prefecture was enshrined, and the shrine was originally built in a different location. As the industrial structure of Onahama shifted from agriculture to fishing, the shrine was moved to its current location in 1385. Since then, it has been deeply revered by fishery, maritime, and port workers, as well as local people, as the "guardian deity of the sea." Most of the murals inside the hall have been lost, but some have been restored and decorated with highly colorful patterns. This is a tourist spot in Onahama, Iwaki City. There are many spots such as Iwaki Marine Tower, Shiomidai, park, guardhouse lighthouse, and Mexico. A good lookout from the tower. Decent park with spectacular Ocean views. Good spot to rest when you are passing by town.
