I finally got to go to the long-awaited Hanabiyori @hanabiyori8717 🌷✨ HANA・BIYORI is a new type of flower park that opened next to Yomiuriland in March last year. The flower chandelier with over 300 pots was a highlight. Yomouri Land is such a magical place. The illumination was superb. They have have all these colorful huge balls, these water park effects, plus their illumination are of different colors. Nothing to say other than, it's absolutely magical there. Yomiuri Park is really a great place for people who like to play rides. Benefit 1: There will be special price tickets on Trip. Last time I grabbed a buy one get one free, the whole day for two is only 264 yuan, which is really super cheap. Benefit 2: There is no queue at all at this park because there are fewer people and it is open for you even if you play on your own. #themepark We went December 26, and it was not as crowded as I expected. We got there around 130PM and still got to do about 10 rides total. I was expecting more from the goodjoba area, but it only had a couple of things to do (per area, unless you want to pay more for the other activities. The day-pass is great value and you really need an entire day to fully experience this place. They also have lots of rides for all ages, even the less than 5 kiddos. The Illuminations are beautiful as well! And the food are not overpriced.

Recently, I went to one of the amusement parks that is popular among the younger generation in Japan - Yomiuri Land. They chose it because it has beautiful lighting arrangements at night, which they described as jewel lighting, and it was like going to a sparkling amusement park with many places to check in. It takes about 35 minutes to get to Keio Yomiuri Land Station on the Keio Line from Shinjuku. When you arrive at Yomiuri Land Station, you can buy a round-trip cable car to Yomiuri Land or walk for 25 minutes. I recommend taking the cable car because you can enjoy the city and park scenery from high altitude. It is really beautiful especially at dusk and night. The one-way cable car ride is 500 yen, and the round trip is 800 yen. The admission fee to Yomiuri Land is only 1,800 yen for adults, and there is an additional charge for playing games each time. It is suitable for tourists who like to take photos but don't want to play too many games. But if you want to play as many rides as you want, I suggest you buy a one-day pass, which is only 5,800 yen. There are common amusement rides such as roller coasters and Ferris wheels, as well as carousels that children like. My biggest impression of Yomiuri Land was that there were a lot of young Japanese people and basically no local tourists. They were either dating, traveling in groups, or parents with young children. The most beautiful thing about Yomiuri Land at night is riding the Ferris wheel, but you have to wait in a long line, especially for me when the temperature is only a few degrees below zero. It is really uncomfortable to queue for more than an hour outdoors. But when you look at the whole park from a high altitude, the scenery feels really beautiful. It is worth mentioning that Yomiuri Land has two Ferris wheels. The higher one will block some of the view compared to the lower one in front. If you want to see the whole picture of the park, it is recommended to queue for the lower one, but of course the waiting time will be longer. We played until the park closed that day, but it is still recommended that everyone leave half an hour before closing, otherwise you will have to queue for more than an hour to take the cable car back on the way back. If you have been to many amusement parks in Japan, you might consider going to Yomiuri Land and taking some photos. I recently had the chance to visit Yomiuriland, and wow, what an unforgettable experience! If you’re looking for a fun, family friendly amusement park in Tokyo without the insane crowds of Disneyland or Universal, Yomiuriland is the place to be. Getting there was super easy. just took the Keio Line straight from Shinjuku Station, no transfers needed, and in about 30-40 minutes, I was at Keio-Yomiuriland Station. From there, you can take the Gondola Sky Shuttle for 500 yen roundtrip. it’s a fun ride with amazing views as you glide towards the park! The park has something for everyone, whether you’re a thrill-seeker or with young kids. For me: -Bandit, the roller coaster, was crazy fast and thrilling, just the way I like it. -The Giant Ferris Wheel was the perfect way to take in the entire park and the view of the Tokyo skyline (and even Mt. Fuji on clear days) was breathtaking. We went during winter, and the Jewellumination light show was incredible, everything lit up with millions of LED lights. It really felt like we were in a winter wonderland. The entry ticket was only 1,800 yen, which I thought was really affordable for the experience. I didn’t get the one-day pass because I wasn’t sure if I’d be doing all the rides, but you can get the pass for 5,800 yen if you want unlimited access. I chose to pay as I went, with each ride costing around 300-500 yen. It worked out to be much cheaper than I expected, and there were plenty of food options to keep us going throughout the day.
